Whitney and I groaned softly as we were woken up from Lust-E's alarm. I sat up to turn her off then took her off my nightstand then noticed a notification on the screen.

Whitney sat up and hugged me from behind, yawning softly. "Happy birthday...Shiji..~"
I looked back at Whitney, giving her soft smile. "Thank you Wynn...~"
Whitney and I finally got out of bed to get ready for the day. Whitney cooked me a special breakfast this morning, wanting me to start off my birthday right. I appreciated what she did, my heart fluttering with happiness and gratitude for Whitney. We sat at the table together, chatting about what I was planning to do for my birthday. I didn't know what Gloria had planned for me, but I knew it had to be big.
After sharing a nice breakfast, the two of us got ready and dressed then we headed out the door to walk to the campus together. As we walked, Whitney was on a call with Gloria and Amber while I worked on my System and checked out the new ability.

'Love Bomb? Seriously?' I asked Lust-E.
"It's cute." Whitney said, defending Lust-E. "It even sounds cute to say when you throw out an attack."
"I gotta agree with Whitney, not every attack needs to sound cool and fancy. Plus, you've got Sanctuary Combo and Destiny Flash. One cute attack name isn't gonna hurt." Lustie chuckled, resting upon her shoulder as Whitney and I walked to the campus.
"What made you even choose Love Bomb?" Passion asked, sitting upon my shoulder.
[Love Sigil plus Energy Bomb? Love Bomb? C'mon. Sigil Bomb doesn't sound cool.]
"Hold on, Sigil Bomb does sound kinda clean." Lustie said, weighing the two names to see which one I should go with.
"How about this...We call it Sigil Bomb for a fully charged Love Bomb. Cool?" I suggested, wanting to keep both sides of the party happy.

With that, Whitney and I continued on, walking hand in hand to the campus. Once we reached our destination, we found Gloria and Amber, both immediately wishing me a happy birthday. Even Aubrie and Ashley came over to wish me a happy birthday as well.
Each girl, aside from Whitney and Gloria, gave me a gift that I happily accepted. By the time all of the gifts were given, my bag was already full, but Lust-E secretly put them in a hidden inventory only I had access to.

The first bell finally rang and all of us got up and split apart as we all had different first classes. I walked Amber, Whitney, and Gloria to class as normal, saving Gloria for last so I could talk to her about the plans for tonight.

"What?~" Gloria giggled, playfully bumping into me as well.
"Our plans for tonight. What are we going to do?" I asked, holding her hand as I walked her to class.
"I'm keeping all of that a secret~ Just know by tonight, you will feel... really... really good.." Gloria answered, her sultry voice filling my head. She stopped in front of me then pulled me down into a soft kiss. "But just know we're gonna have fun.."

Gloria giggled softly then gave me one last kiss before splitting apart from me. "Love you," she whispered with a wave.

All of my classes were finished and I made my way to the entrance to walk home since Whitney was going with Amber to Chelsey's house. As I strolled through the campus, I felt someone hug me from behind. I looked back, noticing it was Gloria beaming a smile at me.
"I hope you remember...~ Be at my house... preferably at seven," Gloria whispered in my ear, her grip on my jacket slowly tightening. "Don't be late..~"
I watched Gloria walk ahead and felt my heart racing. I placed my hand gently against my chest, closing my eyes. 'Holy crap, Gloria really knows how to plant that seed..'
"These Matsugaya Women are different. Aside from a select few, if you're genuinely a nice guy, they will drop everything to risk it all. Luckily in your case, this is a blessing to them," Passion said, watching a few people walk by.
I chuckled softly, continuing my stroll back home. 'Looks like it's not an outing tonight, but a night at Gloria's House. That's—'

I chuckled, rolling my eyes and continuing my stroll home. I talked with Lustie and Passion about the other sisters while I strolled home as I was curious about them. I wondered when I could interact with the others, but just like how I was able to make Passion more interested in me by exuding a certain Presence, there was a criteria especially for those like Talenta who have already bonded with a different Client or System Wielder.
I decided to leave it at that and focus on my upcoming night with Gloria.

I sighed as I sat down on my couch and took this alone time to rest my head. As I rested myself and cleared my mind, my phone began to ring, breaking the calm silence. I took my phone out of my pocket, checking to see who was calling me. I didn't recognize the number, but I thought it could be one of the girls from Sanctuary City calling me off a burner phone.
I answered the call, clearing my throat. "Yooo," I started casually.
A woman on the other line giggled softly, her laugh sounding faintly familiar. "Happy birthday," she greeted.
The entire room was silent and my world had seemed to stop. Lustie and Passion looked at me, wondering what was wrong with me. I couldn't speak for a moment as I tried to process everything. I stood up and paced around, wondering how to respond.
"Hello?" The woman spoke, wondering if I was still on the line.
I took a deep breath and sat back down, finally collecting my thoughts. "Mom?"
"You do remember me," The woman giggled softly.
"How did you get my number?" I asked, my childhood memories replaying in my head. "How..."
"Your guardian. Celene," She answered, her voice soft as she hasn't heard my voice since the day she abandoned me. "I'm sorry,"
I stayed silent leaning forward to rest my arms against my legs and lowered my head. I just listened to what she had to say.
"I know no amount of apologies will ever fix the damage done to our family...my tribe. I tried everything back in Hawaii, but I lost everything and I couldn't take care of you...and instead of letting them get to you, I took you to Texas and left you in Celene's care." She continued, her voice filled with overwhelming emotions.
"I'm so sorry, Shiro. I wanted to stay in Texas, but my tribe...I was the only one who could stop them. 12 years later...I'm just now coming back and you're just so confused.." She finished, her voice being caught in her throat.
Lustie leaned toward me to check up on me, noticing tears rolling down my cheeks. She looked up at Passion, but even Passion didn't know what to do.
"What happened to everyone? What happened to Ani, Feleti...my friends, my cousins?" I asked.
"They are all safe from what I see on social media. Your cousins are safe as well...aunts and uncles. Grandma and Grandpa. The only one that didn't make it was your dad and the village...we don't know who attacked the village or why, but..." My mom answered, her words still slightly caught in her throat.
"Where are you?" I asked, curious about where my mom actually was now.
"I'm still in Hawaii, near Destiny Islands. I hear that's where you are now. Is it fun?" She asked, lightening the mood.
I smiled a bit and sat back on my couch. "Yeah, it's really fun out here once you actually find your bearings and get used to the area."
"Mmm...I bet the night skies are beautiful in the city." My mom said with a soft chuckle.
"They are, but not as beautiful as the night sky at home. The fireworks were much more beautiful where we were and the Magma Feathered Eagle.." I said, my childlike smile returning to my face.
I could feel my mother's happiness through the phone as we talked. We caught up on a lot of things, and I was finally caught up with the truth. They were still trying to find the attacker of our village, but no one knew what they looked like.
We talked on the phone for hours, the world around me seemingly rotating around me and my mother even though we were miles apart. Lustie gently tapped my shoulder as I was talking and showed me the time on Lust-E's screen.
'Oh shit..!' I thought to myself.
"Hey, Mom, I have this important date I have to go to. I hope you don't mind us ending the conversation here, I'll definitely call you in the morning!" I said as I hurrief upstairs to get ready.
"Ooo~ My son has a couple of lovers it seems," My mom teased with her signature playful and cute laugh that I would never forget. "I'll let you go for now."
I smiled and stopped what I was doing. "Okay mom, I'll call you first thing tomorrow."
"Okay, Sunshine..~ I love you, and remember if you ever miss me, just look at the night sky and every time you will see the bright golden star. That's our tribe's star," My mom replied.
"I love you too, and I'll always keep that in mind," I said.
After that conversation and the call ended, I felt a heavy drop in my heart. It's been 12 years since I've seen my biological mother let alone hear from her and for my birthday, I finally got to hear her voice again. I didn't want her voice to go away.
"I can tell it really touched you hearing from her." Lustie said as she noticed my bittersweet smile.
"Yeah...At least I know what happened, but it worries me that whatever attacked my tribe is still out there walking free." I said, walking into my bathroom.
"Well check me out, after Gloria we have three more women in the Destiny Central area we need to deal with. You think you can hold off on the action until then?" Passion asked.
I smiled and looked at Passion, my eyes locking onto hers. "I can hold off, I'm not that much of a fiend for action. I like the peace anyway. I'm gonna bask in it until my job is complete."
"Good, now hurry up and get ready! We're on a strict time clock!" Lustie exclaimed, closing the bathroom door. "And use the body wash I left in there, the scent will—"
"Yeah, yeah! I got it! Go wait for me downstairs!" I called out.
Passion and Lustie giggled softly then floated downstairs together.

I parked my car in front of Gloria's House, fixing my clothes as I made it to her door. I dressed formally casual for the date since I knew I was going to be at Gloria's place for the night. I held one hand behind my back, snapping my fingers.

A Luscious Box appeared in my hand by my simple request then it turned into a bouquet of roses. I rang her doorbell and in a few short seconds, the door opened and there she was. The Perfect Girl was standing in front of me, dressed lightly, her hair completely down, and the scent of her perfume drawing me closer to her.
"You're a bit late, mister," She purred, her voice flirty and playful.
I chuckled and leaned in closer, slowly pulling the flowers from behind my back. "My apologies, Ms. Aoi...I specific phonecall held me up for a while, but I got you a gift that I'm hoping would make up for it.."
Gloria looked at the flowers then smirked, gently biting her bottom lip. "These roses look surreal..~ Must've paid lots of cash for that.."
"Maybe...but you already know cash is the least of my problems," I whispered in her ear, gently pushing her back.

"My mom let me have some of her wine for this date, but I've gotta be careful to not drink too much," Gloria chuckled as she poured my glass of wine.
"Where is she?" I asked.
"She's out at the karaoke with her friends probably singing about how much she hates her job... She's in her midlife crisis phase," Gloria answered with a light hearted laugh. "What about your mom? Where is she right now?"
I took a moment to think about how to answer her question. After gathering my thoughts, I answered, "She's in Hawaii...you know, taking care of our tribe. Technically by tradition, I'm now the head of the tribe but you know, I'm out here."
"Oh right, your tribe is named the Moji Tribe right?" Gloria asked before taking a sip of her wine.
"Mojisola to be exact. My grandfather was from Yoruba and went to Hawaii where he then started the tribe. He was a wealthy man as his name suggested." I explained, giving Gloria the full context of my tribe's name.
"Mmm..~ Your heritage is pretty deep," Gloria joked, her soft, infectious laughter filling the kitchen with good energy.
Gloria and I continued to eat and chitchat about random topics. As per usual, we do have our daily gossip when I was always happy to entertain because as perfect as everyone makes Gloria out to be, most of the gossip she tells is her fault. She's just really good at hiding it and not getting caught.
As I helped Gloria clean the kitchen, I did realize that she did have raging OCD and Perfectionism because anything I did that wasn't to the standards of the house, Gloria was quick to fix. I wasn't bothered by it at all and I could honestly see why she carries herself to such a high degree. Everything had to be perfect in her house, placed in a certain order, turned to a certain angle.
After we finished cleaning, Gloria led me upstairs to her room. We got inside and got comfy on her bed. Gloria sighed softly as she rested upon me.
"Sorry for that whole cleaning fiasco downstairs...I don't know if you know, but asian parents don't play. Especially not a military asian parent. My mom's pretty chill, but her rules are super strict. I kinda envy Akira. She's free now without any parents breathing down her neck everyday," Gloria said.
"Then again, if her parents saw the way she acts...she's immediately disowned," Gloria added with a soft chuckle. "My mom doesn't like her at all.."
I chuckled softly and held Gloria close to me. "I don't mind it at all, Gloria. It kinda adds to your charm...I know deep inside you aren't perfect, but to me you are," I said softly, gently brushing her hair from her face.
