We were outside the castle but still on the floating land. The gardens were oddly peaceful, even as large monsters flew up above, unable to get to close. We sat in a gazebo and the vampire dame had brought me a basket of toamto and eggs sandwiches.
I still had no idea how they were making these human dishes but they were tasty so I didn't think too much about it.
She stood beside my sitting form in the gazebo, having ignored my begging her to seat.
"You may ask whatever you are wishing to ask and I will answer to the best of my ability."
I smiled up at her, putting the empty basket to the side.
Leaning forward in my seat with my elbows on my knees, I asked, "How did you meet Marcellus and get yourself turned? From what he had told me, only he and his brother can actually turn humans into vampires and they don't just do so willy-nilly. Did you actually ask to be turned?"
