Rushing towards an expedition I knew very little about may have not been the wisest decision, but I didn't think that warranted getting smacked by Sofia as I was about to rush out the door.
At least she was talking to me again.
I sat on a bar stool, Sofia having kicked everyone out of the ground floor or sent them to their rooms within the inn. I didn't want to admit it, but the young girl glaring down at me was genuinely more intimidating than most other monsters I'd ever faced.
I could've even bet that the Demon Lord themselves would've been shaking at the mere sight of Sofia's angry eyes.
"Di."
I flinched when she'd finally spoken after a bout of silence that followed her cursing at me for being so very stupid.
I looked up at her, feeling small under her eyes. I flinched again when I noticed she wasn't even glaring at me like usual. She just looked so worried.
