Neil and Michael were speaking in French, and Michael had to translate for Irene. Michael was more than willing to take on the task of reprimanding the girl who had undergone plastic surgery. He suppressed the urge to let the corners of his lips curl up, showing some hesitation before translating Neil's words into English, word for word, for Irene.
Irene's face turned green on the spot.
Jace, the number one bootlicker under Neil's command, was the first to voice his disagreement. He pointed at Neil and yelled, "Smelly boy, what did you say? Say it again if you have the guts!"
Neil narrowed his eyes. He wasn't a good-tempered person, and after struggling to find someone and being chased all the way, he was boiling with anger, with no outlet to vent.
