The First Guardian

What do you think might be the driving force behind society? Compassion? Greed? Selfishness? Whatever your answer is, it's irrelevant, because this story is not rooted in reality, but a Universe where the concept of defence is foreign and unheard of... to most, a place where the greatest and most powerful people in the world are literally the most physically powerful, where might makes right, and whoever has the stronger ability is the greater. Meelid is the world's biggest coward, riddled with insecurities, tantalising fears, and the likes, he struggles to survive in this accursedly aggressive society, until one day he is pushed too far and realises, 'hey, why don't I just try to get hurt...less?'.
