Chapter 130 - Chapter 130: Someone Looking for Trouble Again?

There's not much to say about the container situation. After all, those empty containers were just lying there, ignored. Several dolls wearing powered exoskeletons picked them up and placed them on the trailer, then secured the latches on the truck.

Of course, further modification and reinforcement would be needed once they returned, but for now, it was sufficient replacement of the Kamaz truck.

Meanwhile, Angelia, who had just pretended to be dead, was also carried into the cargo container. As for HK416, who had just been stuck in the bicycle basket... that was a bit complicated...

After MDR took a few photos, she flipped HK416 along with the basket over in an attempt to pull her out. Originally sitting upright in the basket, HK416 ended up face down on the ground, with her knees and shins propped up against the sides of the basket...

"It looks like a caterpillar!" MDR exclaimed.

Later, after snapping a few more pictures, MDR managed to shake HK416 out of the basket.

Snap!

HK416's face and still damp clothes hit the ground with a moist thud.

Free from the confines of the basket, HK416 crawled on the ground like a helpless worm...

Clearly, she could move, but her internal systems were not fully functional yet.

MDR habitually took out her phone to capture HK416's posture, then grabbed her by the neck as Renault often did to her and tossed her into the truck compartment.

"Commander! Loading complete! We can depart now!" MDR shouted as she jumped onto the truck and closed the container door behind her, plunging it into darkness.

"Woah, it's pitch black... Huh! Why are all these eyes suddenly glowing!?" As soon as the container door closed, the thermal imaging sensors on the dozen or so powered exoskeletons inside lit up.

MP5, who was standing amidst the powered exoskeletons, was startled. Initially, she didn't think much about it, but now, with so many eyes glowing simultaneously, it was a bit unnerving.

"RFB, do you have your tactical flashlight? Shine it to illuminate, it's pitch black."

"Ah, I have it. Let me find it..."

Click.

Just as RFB finished speaking, a soft click came from one of the Dinergates in front of her. Then, a faint light illuminated from one of the SF-units bodies, and the holographic image of Scarecrow suddenly appeared in the container.

"Jaeger, I'm here to... Oh!"

Scarecrow in the Sangvis Ferri factory was immediately startled by the dozens of glowing red eyes in the container, especially since they were all focused on her!

Seeing the scarecrow, Jaeger immediately climbed out of the powered exoskeleton, tapped on another Dinergate's body, click!

This time, the entire container lit up, not with tactical flashlights, but with a large light bulb installed on the other Dinergate's back, connected to the port used to connect particle weapons.

"Huh, what's going on? Are you going on a mission?" Seeing the familiar figure of Jaeger, Scarecrow breathed a sigh of relief, then somewhat strangely looked at the powered exoskeletons in the container.

"Uh-huh." Hearing the scarecrow's words, Jaeger nodded, but obviously didn't intend to say more.

Seeing that Jaeger still didn't want to disclose the truth, Scarecrow fell silent and stopped asking.

The dolls under Renault's command were obviously different from those of IOP; they didn't readily provide information. Even Angelia, who was used to dolls answering all her questions, found it quite uncomfortable.

Luckily, this awkward feeling was quickly pushed aside by Angelia when she saw her T-Doll, HK416, wriggling on the ground like a caterpillar, repeatedly reaching out with weak and powerless hands, as if she was trying to crawl onto the nearby powered exoskeleton in front of her to strangle it.

"Uh, 416? What are you... doing?"

...

Unfortunately, HK416's attempt to strangle MDR didn't succeed, and even after Renault and Simonov drove the truck back to the city, she couldn't successfully pry MDR out of the powered exoskeleton. Instead, MDR stood comfortably in the exoskeleton and took a nap.

Although it seemed odd to sleep standing up, it wasn't unusual for a doll in a powered exoskeleton.

"We're home! Back to base!" As the truck came to a stop in the factory, Renault walked to the back of the truck, opened the container door, and MDR was the first to jump out. As HK416, who was still trying to grab MDR's exoskeleton, was thrown out of the container, she landed with a thud, falling flat on her back.

"Oh, sorry about that! But don't worry, these injuries aren't much for a T-Doll. Just put her in the repair bay, and she'll be good as new in no time!"

Why apologize and then just toss me on the ground!?

HK416 screamed inwardly, but her body remained motionless. She gave up; it was better to play dead than to make another foolish move and have MDR capture it on camera! M16 had been playing dead since the beginning! She is too cunning!

As MDR jumped out first, the others followed suit, gradually exiting the truck. At the rear of the truck, they set up a quarantine area and began to process the powered armor, clothing, and equipment they had brought back.

After spending several hours in the irradiated area, they needed to be careful with decontamination. Leaving behind any radioactive dust or residue might not affect Renault and the dolls, but if a client were to visit unexpectedly one day, they would be in trouble.

Just as Renault finished disposing of the clothes they had temporarily worn, someone knocked on the door of the factory.

A familiar figure and several unfamiliar men were standing at the entrance of the factory.
