"Aren't you curious how I know your real identity?"
Ashara's words echoed in Victor's mind when he saw her fidgeting before him.
"Why are you staring at me, Victor?" she asked, her voice laced with innocence, her large, curious eyes blinking up at him.
Victor blinked, snapping out of his reverie, "Ah, it's nothing..." he said, forcing a smile, "Just wondering if you happen to know any kind of spell that lets you... identify someone."
Ashara's brow furrowed, her fingers twirling a loose strand of her hair, "Identify someone? Why do you ask? Are you looking for someone in particular?" Her voice was soft, and thoughtful, as if she was mulling over the possibilities.
"Yeah," Victor replied, his tone casual, "I'm searching for an old friend of mine."
"I see..." Ashara murmured, her expression thoughtful as she processed his words.
