Aether sat beside her, his gaze lingering on her face as a small smile played on his lips. His eyes traced every curve of her features, drinking in the sight of her as if committing it to memory.
"W-What?" Delphine stammered, her voice trembling as she instinctively tried to move away from him, her heart racing in her chest.
"Nothing... You just look incredibly beautiful," Aether replied, his voice low and husky, a smirk curling on his lips. He reached out, tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear, his fingertips grazing her skin, sending shivers down her spine. Her blush deepened, her breath hitching as she struggled to maintain her composure.
