Chapter 270 - You don't want your friend to know, right?

"Isao-kun!"

As Isao, Finn, and Loki talked about their expedition, Hestia came along with the others.

Ryuu, who wanted to talk to him, knew that she couldn't talk about her wish, and in the end, she was unable to properly tell him about her thoughts about joining him on the expedition, especially when she thought about how he would be with Aiz for so long.

'Let's wait.'

Still, Ryuu decided to wait, especially when she thought about how Isao was hurt. Moreover, she also wanted to be different, and she didn't want to become a woman who forced herself on him like Aiz and Airmid.

Nevertheless, there was no doubt that Isao's recovery was fast, and in a week, he quickly recovered, was able to get out from the Dian Cecht Familia's headquarters, and returned home. Even though, during those days, he had been attacked by many aggressive women, he could hold on, especially when Demeter also came to visit him.

When Demeter came, Isao had to say it was great, and he was comforted.

Yet, at the same time, this also made him wonder about a certain goddess who was known as the most beautiful one. It had been a while since they had met each other, and after that day, he had never approached her, especially when he knew that she was about to marry and her groom was the original protagonist, Bell Cranel.

While Isao sometimes forgot, he knew that Bell had already become a Level 2 adventurer.

Still, while Bell's achievement was amazing, his announcement happened to be when everyone knew that Isao had become a Level 4, so somehow, his existence was forgotten.

Yet, it was all fine since being high-profile wasn't a good thing.

However, due to that, Isao knew all the problems would come to him. Still, he didn't mind since he was used to getting into trouble, even though he wasn't proud of it. Yet, this experience of meeting many troubles also helped him to solve those problems.

Still, while his life was peaceful except for being attacked by women from time to time, it was a different case with the Evilus and the man hiding in the dark.

All the members of the Evilus felt that their lives were hard, especially when it was so hard for them to leave their hiding place. Unlike in the original, where they prepared a trap for the Loki Familia and let all the members of his Familia enter so they could eliminate them, this time, due to Isao's presence, all of them hid inside their hiding place, and hardly left as they were targeted by him.

As long as they left, they knew that Isao would kill them, and more importantly, many of their important members were all taken down by him!

"Dammit! Dammit! Dammit!"

Valletta Grede kept cursing about their misfortune, and frankly, she also felt tense, especially when she heard that Isao had become a Level 4.

"...how long this will continue? Can I continue to build Knossos?" Barca Perdix asked impatiently.

"Calm down, you two. There is nothing we can do about him now, and it isn't like we are helpless since we still have many helpers."

Their god, Thanatos, said to the only two executives of his Familia. As Oliver Act and Revis were defeated by Isao, he knew that their position had become terrible and everything moved into the worst situation, yet even so, he didn't give up, especially when he had faced many misfortunes.

More importantly, Isao, the guild, the Loki Familia, and the others hadn't been able to find their hiding place, and they also had many allies on the Orario and the outside, so it wasn't like there was no room for a countermeasure.

Even if their existence was bad and their purpose was to destroy everything, many still reached their hands toward them even if they were burnt by it.

"How about Enyo?" Valletta looked at Thanatos and asked, "That guy's follower should be at Level 7, right? Can that guy kill him?"

"I am not sure." Thanatos couldn't answer this question since he wasn't sure what had happened in the dungeon previously.

"Useless!"

As Valletta scolded and cursed Enyo and the follower, Thanatos and Barca nodded, thinking that they were useless.

This guy had a Level 7 as the follower, yet this guy couldn't even erase Isao!

Frankly, as long as they could erase Isao, everything would be easy, but unfortunately, this guy was so useless.

"So, what will we do now?" Barca asked.

"Wait."

Thanatos knew that he didn't have any choices. "It isn't like we're in a hurry anyway. Let's just wait."

Hearing his answer, the two nodded since they could only wait. They had waited for five years before, so it didn't matter if they waited for more, yet frankly, they were impatient and hoped for Enyo to erase Isao already.

At the same time, Enyo also felt the same and wished to erase Isao as soon as possible. Nevertheless, it was impossible for him to make a move by himself, so he could only send his only follower.

Last time, this follower disappointed him as she was unable to erase a weak guy with her strong strength.

'If you can't deal with him, what's the point of you?'

As he lamented his misfortune, Isao knew that he was being targeted. Or rather, it would have been impossible if he hadn't noticed the killing intent behind that gaze, so at this moment, he decided to deal with this killer.

Frankly, he wondered why this killer and the guy behind her were so courageous that they kept aiming at him without much thought, but then, he also felt that it was normal since the killer was a Level 7. On the other hand, previously, he was just a Level 3, and even if he had become a Level 4, nothing changed much.

Nevertheless, Isao felt strange watching this killer have a close relationship with the member of Loki Familia.

'What's her name again... oh, right, Lefiya Viridis.'

If it were someone else, Isao would forget them, but Lefiya was quite stubborn as she often stalked Aiz, and Riveria also told him that Lefiya was a talented elf. More importantly, she was cute, so he remembered her.

Watching the cute elf who walked by the side of the killer, Isao remembered the name of this elf. Frankly, while this elf was adorable, he knew that she was in love with Aiz, and she probably wished to have a "yuri" relationship with Aiz.

'I wonder what you would do if you knew Aiz's real personality...'

When Isao thought about Aiz's distorted expression whenever she saw him with another woman, he felt a shudder. Her love was too heavy, he thought, but fortunately, he was strong and smart enough to handle her.

Nevertheless, putting those matters aside, watching two women happily talk to each other, Isao wondered what Lefiya would think when she knew her friend was part of the Evilus.

Still, he didn't do anything and just quietly watched them while he was in a state of invisibility. Kirihara Shizuya's ability from the world of "Rakudai" was strong, and as long as he used this ability, no one could find him.

By using the transparency concept manipulation ability, Isao followed the opponent who he fought in the dungeon, who happened to play with Lefiya.

Nevertheless, when they parted away, Isao made his move and directly killed this killer in the alley so forcefully that she directly fell into the corner.

"Wh—"

Startled, the killer didn't expect that she would be attacked so suddenly, and it caused her feet to break. The attacker was ruthless and didn't give her mercy, breaking her feet, so she couldn't escape, and even worse—

"I wonder what your friend's expression would be if she knew your true identity."

Hearing this familiar voice, Filvis Challia widened when she saw Isao. When she thought about killing him, he had already made his move and attacked her directly.

As expected, the bad feelings in her mind were right, and she knew that she couldn't escape from her dishonoring act.

Yet, even worse—

"You don't want your beloved friend to know that you are Enyo's follower who wants to destroy Orario, right?"

Hearing his threatening words and gentle smile, Filvis felt cold and weak in her entire body, knowing she had no escape.
