Chapter 29 - Be careful. I will steal the leader position!

No one knew what Isao was doing, and many thought that he was just a kind and gentle young man, but for him, his adventure brought him many benefits. While it is true that he couldn't get stronger and that there were no unique talents that he could acquire, considering how ordinary the people around this estate were, he received many unique knowledge and ordinary talents such as cooking, management, karate, drawing, voice acting, and even being a mechanic.

Frankly, if possible, he wanted to get knowledge from a master of engineering, science, law, economics, agriculture, education, and medicine. However, there was no way for him to find those with such talents in this place, especially in this country where the majority of people worked as salarymen.

Isao had enough of those salarymen, and even if he got their experiences, knowledge, etc., they were the same. Instead, he might as well go to the chefs since he could get a unique recipe or two for the farmer and tips for farming.

As for martial arts or fighting styles and similar things, Isao wasn't in a hurry since, in his mind, all those arts created to fight were meaningless in the face of technology and overwhelming power.

Well, in another world, there might be a special martial art, but in this world, there was no such a thing, so he might as well focus on gaining a variety of traits of animals.

Nevertheless, when everything was over, Isao asked, "Have you met Takagi-senpai's parents, Busijima-senpai?" Frankly, he was surprised that Saeko had never questioned him when he went to help many people before. He thought that she would ask why he did this, but she didn't question him and just followed him obediently like... she was his wife.

Yeah, a wife.

This might be strange, but this was the feeling he gained when Saeko was there.

'Even though there is Rei-senpai...'

Isao lamented that he still hadn't become a good person enough.

"Yes, I met Takagi-san's father last night."

"Oh?" Isao became interested and asked, "What do you think of him?" While he had the memory of the past, sometimes, the reality might be different after all. It was like how Rei, who should go back with the protagonist, but in the end, she slept with him.

At the same time, after she heard his question, Saeko understood why Isao had been helping and talking with so many people before. However, she wasn't going to say it out loud since she knew that what he did was quite rude, yet this was necessary since, in this situation, being careful was a trait needed to stay alive.

"You can trust him. He is also a student of my father, so there is no need to worry that he will do something crazy."

"Compared to Shido-sensei?"

Saeko was speechless and said, "There is no comparison between the two. Takagi Souchiro-san is a military man. He is disciplined and tough."

"I see..." Isao nodded and knew that there was no need to worry. A military man was much simpler than the politicians. However, it didn't mean he was going to underestimate Saya's father. Still, as Souchiro was a military man, he also understood that there might be a chance for them to be sent off to the battlefield.

Yet, for Isao, who could control those "things," what should he be afraid of?

"What are you planning to do?" Saeko asked.

"What do you mean?" Isao looked at Saeko with confusion.

Saeko's lips squirmed, then asked softly, "I mean... after this, do you have a plan?"

Isao smiled and asked, "If I tell you that I will go out, will you follow me?"

"I will."

Unexpectedly, Saeko answered his question firmly as her eyes locked into his. However, soon, she blushed and looked away shyly.

"....."

Dammit, why were you so cute?!

Isao was also a little awkward, but he forced himself to calm down.

"But, where are we going if we go out?"

Before he said something, Saeko suddenly asked.

"Well, I plan to go to Hokkaido."

"Hokkaido? Why?"

"I plan to eat crab."

"...." Saeko.

Isao smiled and said, "The world is like this. We can die anytime, so why should I stay in a place, cowering in fear due to those "things?" At this time, I might as well enjoy life, doing something that I want to do."

Saeko couldn't look away. His existence became dazzling, and the more she could not resist him, the closer she wished to be. "That's nice."

"How about you, Senpai? Is there something that you want to do, Senpai?"

"Hmm... rice."

"Rice?"

"I want to try Niigata rice," Saeko said with a gentle smile.

"Oh, that's nice." Isao thought for a moment and said, "Maybe I should make bucket lists."

"Bucket list?"

"Yeah, a list of anything that I want to do in this apocalypse-like world, such as swimming in Lake Biwa, enjoying the sun in Okinawa, and dipping in the Kusastsu Onsen."

Hearing what Isao wanted to do, Saeko felt helpless, but the smile on her face was extremely gentle. When everyone was in despair and even on the verge of being crazy, he gave everyone hope.

'He's so much different from others.'

Yet, she didn't hate this part of him. Instead, she was drawn and couldn't look away as she kept moving closer and closer until they heard loud footsteps from the distance.

"Takagi-senpai?"

Isao could see Saya, who was walking in his direction, and her face clearly showed that she was in a bad mood.

"What are you doing?"

Saya asked while looking at Isao, then glanced at Saeko, who stood beside him quietly. When she saw this, the irritation in her heart became even more intense, and she was on the verge of exploding, but—

"I see... you have seen me, huh?" Isao sighed as if all the plans that he had made were exposed.

"????" 2x

Whether Saya or Saeko were confused by his words.

Yet, Isao ignored their confusion and said, "That's right. I plan to kick your parents out of the leadership position of this community and become the new leader for everyone like Shido-sensei."

"...." 2x

"... Are you joking?" Saya asked unsurely. While she had confidence in her parents, she could imagine that Isao had kicked them out of the throne.

"Of course, I was joking," Isao said with a smile.

"....." Saya.

"Do you feel better now, Takagi-senpai?" Isao asked.

Saya was quiet, staring at him with a complicated gaze. There was some urge in her heart, but she was shy. Still, she glanced toward Saeko, raising her brows, and said, "Saya."

"What?"

"Call me Saya."

"I can't." Isao shook his head.

"Why?!" Saya was angry, feeling heavy, thinking that Isao and Saeko might be dating.

"It is inappropriate for a guy and a girl to call each other by their first name. It's shameless," Isao said righteously.

'How could someone who has sex with his teacher have a face to say that?!' Saya was mad, but then Isao smiled and said, "But since you have asked me to do so, then it can't be helped. Saya-senpai."

"...um."

Saya blushed, and at the same time, she was helpless since why should she feel this way toward this pervert?

Not only was he sexually deviant, but he liked to tease someone, and his control over his dick was so loose that he might stick them to any beautiful woman that he saw. If there was something that had to be awe about him, it was the fact that he was relatively picky and didn't have sex on the slut.

'Wait, that isn't a good point!'

"Saya, wait for a moment."

"Tsk!" Saya pouted, then said, "Let's talk later. I will meet you in your room!"

"...."

Isao glanced at Saya, who had left speechlessly, wondering how this girl could be so vulgar, and told him that she would meet him in his room. He felt the malice of the world and how the moral standard had fallen so deep.

"Ah, are you Iinuma-kun? Thank you for taking care of my daughter."

Isao turned and looked at the woman before him, suddenly falling into silence, clearly distracted by her ripened charm, but then, he felt like his waist was being touched by someone.

"Isn't Takagi-san's mother beautiful, Iinuma-kun?"

"....."

Turning his head, Isao had to say Saeko's smile was so... frightening.
