The atmosphere was, mildly put, tense. Very, very, very tense if put a little less mildly.
Three things were the reason for this tense situation. One, the just faction barged in which was a direct insult to the Demonic faction. However, while the Demonic faction decided to look past it, they weren't over it so the tenseness from that side led to the inappropriate address of titles which was the complete number one reason for all of this.
The second reason was the presence of the present individuals. Now, the word 'Demonic' was a clear reference to something evil, and in the Murim alliance, only one organization was allergic to that word, the Shaolin temple.
The organization that served the one true god, the Buddha. No judgment but whatever. I was too open-minded to criticize religions. So, in short, the servers of good hated the servers of evil.
