Chapter 265
"I'll be home soon," Andrew said over the phone with a smile. Julie, on the other end, smiled and said, "I can't wait for the surprise you have for me."
"Believe me. I can't wait either." Andrew said and they talked for a few more minutes before Andrew hung up. He stood up and was putting the documents in his bag when the door to his office opened and Gabriel walked in.
"Oh, hey. I was just heading home for the night." Andrew said.
"Mhm." Gabriel said, "I dealt with that case of yours."
"Yeah, I heard. Thanks." Andrew said before he added, "I owe you a terrible one for this. Darnell has helped me out greatly on the streets."
"I know. That's why I defended him and got him off the murder charge." Gabriel said before he took a few more steps and continued, "Of course, that wasn't the only reason for showing him mercy."
"What do you mean?" Andrew asked as he just finished putting all the documents in his bag.
