A black-haired woman, with beauty to match hers and the spitting image of Alicia, only older, was seen trying to protect her. She could see something else. The umbilical cord. The woman, who was protecting the baby, still had her cord connected to the baby.
Then, Alicia's view changed and she saw a man with the features of an elf. His hair was blonde, his ears long, longer than any elf she had seen, and the beauty to match her beloved, Adrian.
