I avoided the slash of the Ice Kuma and shot a few 'Magic canons' at it. As expected, its resistance to nonphysical attacks was quite high. Even after shooting it with seventeen canons, it was still very much lively.
A stark realization that not all monsters are the same. Roughly, this monster was around rank C which was the same as a slime of the second floor yet that could be killed with just one magic bullet but this one wasn't dead even after that many magic canons.
I once again dodged the swing of its paws and equipped the 'Dagger of Desaant'. I immediately felt lighter and it became easier to dodge the monster's already slow attacks. I slashed at its ankles, trying to cut its tendons and it proved to be a lot more easier than using Magic canon to kill it.
The next slash was aimed at its eye and it was easy enough to deliver.
