Chapter 52
The host came back on the stage after a few moments. Everyone in the auction house waited patiently for what news he had brought.
"My deepest apologies, ladies and gentlemen," He began with an apology and continued, "But after not seeing the desired response for this product, the seller has decided to not sell the second piece."
The triumphant smiles of many people in the VIP rooms froze at the same time. This wasn't what they were expecting. What they expected was to simply lower the price.
The item was bound to show up again if it showed up today. They simply had to wait for a while or search their own dungeons for such magical items but even if they couldn't procure it themselves, they didn't want the prices of it to reach great heights so they decided to use this little strategy to lower the price.
What they didn't expect was this little surprise. They hadn't considered this because it went against the rule.
