I exhaled a lengthy sigh and stood up, "So sorry to take your time like this Vincent. I know that you went through a tragic experience and don't deserve to be held here for that. I truly apologize for putting you through all this. You're free to go."
He didn't move at all at my words but I was done here. I did have a last piece of advice for him though.
"Try to marry a good one this time," I said nonchalantly before moving out of the room.
[Why question him at all?]
'Because I wanted to make sure he wasn't the one who summoned the spirit.'
Spirits are sometimes weak and can't materialize but if they are supplied with a strong will in the form of summoning, they can materialize stretching the limits of their bounds.
I was worried it was his will that brought the ghost to the material plane but from the looks of it, he didn't even have such a thought.
