Asmara closed her eyes as her body trembled when she saw the scene in front of her.
Mangled corpses, well, almost corpses, were lying on the floor with blood gushing out of their several orifices. Their faces disfigured and the shape of their bodies defied their natural orders.
Combined, it was a gruesome scene and no sane human could have been able to endure such a scene let alone live it.
Yet, Rose still stood up. With one of her arms out of commission and flailing to the side, she got into a proper stance.
Not just her, Max also stood up and held up his arms which were badly bleeding in front of his face.
As for Sophien, Laura, and Alicia, although a lot worse than the other two, they were also showing signs of standing up.

It had been one week since all of it began.
In that one week, all Asmara did was swing that sword. If she were to get it wrong even once, she would have to start over.
