Dungeon cores. A thing that no one in the present knows about. The way to completely remove the dungeons from the face of the earth. Of course, doing so has no merit. You cannot forge them into weapons or anything else. They were just simply shiny crystals.
However, for me, they were a collection of life force. Now if I were to destroy them, I would gain EXP as that would count as killing someone. But, this was a golden chance for me.
Since they were so full of life, I could just absorb them. Now if I were to do the same to a human being, absorb their life force, I would be going against the nature of life itself and that counted as killing.
But these weren't living beings, they were just a collection of life force so absorbing them was okay. And given their ranks, they might be able to expand my life strand to the fourth level. Might be, of course, but there was a chance and I was going to get more of them.
