Chapter 156
Derrell came face to face with me and just stared at me. I was quite uncomfortable with the closeness but I didn't back off. He was most certainly instructed by Hershey to do something but I wasn't worried. The system shop was a big help in everything so I wasn't worried about another poisoning incident.
He soon stepped back without a word which creeped me out a bit and I really hoped he wasn't into men because I would rather not have a man interested in men around me.
"Let the match begin!" The referee announced and Derrell instantly jumped back and a magical arrow appeared on his bow which he shot at me. I simply used 'Celestial Guard' to block the arrow which was surprisingly strong. But I guess that was the norm since an archer's main attack power was in his shots.
Still, my shield remained strong in the face of more assaults before it finally crumbled on the fourth one.
