Chapter 123
"Kugh!!!" Adrian was thrown against a wall, bloodied to the bone as he tried to collect himself. It wasn't to the point that he was dying but it didn't seem like it was nothing serious as well.
"I wonder how something so weak like you got this far." A croaky voice fell into his ears as Adrian tried to regain his senses that were dulled after the last hit.
"Haha." Despite being in pain, Adrian let out a small chuckle as he replied, albeit difficultly but his eyes remained full of life, "You sack of bones can't determine my limit buddy."
The owner of the voice was a knight covered in dark armor, not even his eyes could be seen through the thick and heavy armor yet the agility displayed by the knight was far faster than someone could imagine. "I doubt even gods can save you right now."
"Gods?" Adrian said with a small chuckle again as he replied, "Don't make me laugh. What can a bunch of prisoners do to help me?"
