Chapter 118
I slowly approached the two undeads guarding the end of the stairs and entrance of a corridor. They weren't attacking me even when I got close enough to them for my skill 'High heal' to work on them. Still, it was good for me so I didn't mull over it. I prepared the holy bombs but I didn't prepare any of my skills.
After observing the undeads on the first floor, I discovered that although these guys are technically dead, they can somehow feel the effects of light particles or anything holy and attack. Right now, the smell of the holy water was being contained by the exploding vials but the use of any of my skills would land me in trouble. I needed to land the first strike.
When I was close enough, I pulled out five, and a half of my holy bombs and prepared to throw them. I intended to throw them exactly in the middle of both of them for maximum damage. Of course, if it explodes, it would hurt me too but I have a shield for that.
