Chapter 104
"What do we do now?" Layla asked as we entered the camp. She was relying on my orders a bit too much. That wasn't good. For her own and myself either.
[She is showing her incompetence]
'Exactly.'
"Figure it out on your own. You are the leader." I said in a low voice that only she and the close-standing Zefton could hear. She was taken aback at my reply but didn't mind. Instead, she focused on the hidden meaning which, even given her intellect, she could figure out.
She nodded and left. Zefton left with her. I turned to Alicia and said, "Come on. We are leaving as well."
Alicia was puzzled why we were leaving as soon as we returned but she didn't ask. We quietly left without being spotted by anyone.
We returned to the snowy mountains. From the novel, I knew of the Ice Kuma but unfortunately, there was no mention of any other overlord so I didn't know where to look for them either.
