Todd of the Dawning ,stepped through the Stargate and arrived at the new city of Britannia ,on the planet Brittia,the Tau'ri home world in the galaxy of Ida .
The military base and ship yards had been completed ,alongside the city of Britannia, the large imposing buildings of the Tau'ri government head quarters, and embassy of the five great races, towered into the sky, magnificent towers and domed buildings could be seen throughout the city, gardens and fountains were dotted throughout the city ,mountains with snow covered peaks were seen in the distance ,and on the large bay the city was built around, the city ship of Camelot was resting on the surface of the calm waters of the bay ,beautiful bridges for mag lift trains ,and road bridges linked the two sides of the bay together .
The growing Tau'ri city ,had a population of two million inhabitants, scientists engineers, military personnel, diplomatic personnel, government officials ,teachers and children ,people of all professions and backgrounds, had moved from Earth now called the breathtaking city of Britannia home .
Todd of the Dawning ,was greeted by supreme commander Thor of the Asgard, and the Tau'ri fleet commander of the Ida galaxy Cameron Mitchell.
Todd was escorted to the council chambers of the Tau'ri government building, and was introduced to the prime minister of Brittia Mark Andrews ,and the commander of the city ship Camelot Russell Chapmen,as well as ambassador Antaeus of the Nox, and ambassador Darrian of the Furling .
" welcome to the city of Britannia Todd , I would like to thank you for coming here today , we have much to discuss with you , first of all I would like to bring you up to date ,and inform you of the recent events that have occurred, in the Pegasus galaxy "said prime minister Mark Andrews.
" I will let the fleet commander of this galaxy Cameron Mitchell, explain to you what has occurred " said Andrews.
" The Wraith under the command of the Empress, launched a large scale attack against Atlantis, she had attacked Atlantis with a fleet of two hundred, improved wraith hive ships and cruisers ,the wraith were destroyed to the last wraith ,and all Wraith facilities throughout the Pegasus galaxy have been destroyed, the Wraith threat has been removed from the galaxy ,and the entire race of Wraith are now extinct "said Mitchell.
Todd smiled and chuckled to himself ,finding the information he had heard amusing .
" The high council of the five great races ,have decided to help you to develop your world and technology ,and we encourage you to move away from the use of Wraith technology, we will help you build your city and your civilization, we also extend an invitation to your people, to join the intergalactic community ,and take part in the first meeting of the United worlds.
The event will take place on Lemuria, a Tau'ri home world in the Milky Way galaxy" said Thor.
Ha ha ha ,Todd laughed in his booming voice.
" Please don't take offense ,I couldn't help but laugh at the fate of the Wraith, I suspected long ago after a few encounters with John Shepherd and Atlantis, I could see the fall of the Wraith, and as time went on and the people of Atlantis and I worked together, the more I was convinced that the Wraith would fall ,to John Shepherd and his people, his people were different to any humans that I had encountered, they could understand and make use of the technology of the Alterans ,and had a great knowledge of science ,and with Michael's research and Dr. Keller's formulas ,I finally had a way to save some of my race ,by changing our genetics.
What I saw when I met with the Tau'ri high council ,showed me the might that the Tau'ri military had ,and I knew it would only be a matter of time, before the Wraith met the true might ,and power of the Tau'ri ,a war I was now certain that the Wraith could never win.
I am grateful for all that you have offered, and I gratefully accept your help, I am curious as to why you are willing to help us so much, we were Wraith before we became the Dawning" said Todd.
"This is a new beginning for you as a people,yes you have changed your genetics, and the Asgard and the Alterans, have looked at your genetics and have helped you to perfect your changes, they have also cloned your race , and with genetic diversity ensuring that they are all different and individual ,you now have a sustainable male to female ratio, your race will grow and flourish.
The Dawning are a new race ,and this is truly a second chance, the future of this and other galaxies, are of great importance to the five great races, we hope that you will grow to be a ally in this galaxy, and a member of the United worlds ,your world will benefit from the intergalactic trade and Commerce," said Mark Andrews the Tau'ri prime minister of Brittia.
Todd was very happy, and he thanked the day he met John Shepherd.
