President Hayes,general O'Neill and Dr. Daniel Jackson, we're in the Oval Office of the White House ,awaiting the arrival of Thor.
Thor appeared in a silvery white light ,as he beamed into the Oval Office .
"Greetings from the Asgard high council , Mr President , Doctor Jackson , General O'Neill" Said Thor.
"Great to see you again Thor " said Doctor Jackson.
"A pleasure "said Hayes.
"With your permission Mr President ,I will beam us on board my ship The Hella,and we will travel to Vis Uban, for the meeting of the great races"said Thor.
" Thor please call me Henry, and we are ready when you are "said Henry smiling .
A silvery white light enveloped all occupants of the room, and the next moment Thor was in the ship's command chair.
Doctor Jackson, General O'Neill, and President of the United States Henry Hayes stood on the bridge of the Hella, the new O'Neill class ship of the supreme Commander of the Asgard.
Thor moved a control Crystal and the Hella jumped into hyperspace.
"We will arrive at Vis Uban shortly , when we arrive we will beam down to the council chambers and then the meeting of the great races will begin the first time in many thousands of years,that all the Great Races will be in attendance "said Thor.
"Does that mean the Asgard and the Kox,Ancients and the Furling will be there we have never met the Furling before" said Daniel.
"Yes doctor Jackson all will be in attendance as I said .
I am aware that the Tau'ri have not met the Furling "said Thor.
Dropping out of hyperspace ,the Hella arrived in orbit of Vis Uban .
Thor and the Tau'ri beamed into the city's council chambers,in a flash of silvery white light.
" I'm not sure I will ever get used to that "said the president
"You get used to Mr President trust me on that "said a smiling General Jack O'Neill.
"Please take seat at the table "said Thor .,
The Tau'ri and Thor took their place at the large round table .
Suddenly a bright white light flashed in the council chambers ,and two ascended Ancients appeared at the table.
A few moments later Lya of the Nox entered the room and took her place at the table ,then with a flash of bright blue light, the Furling ambassador appeared and also took his place at the table.
The female ascended Ancient, stood up and began the meeting that would change everything ,for the Tau'ri and bring about many changes for several galaxies .
"My name is Aurelia, I want to welcome you all to Vis Uban the new home world in this plain of existence,of those you call ancients we the ascended Alterans ,Welcome you to the first gathering of the Great Races in thousands of years .
May I introduce Janus, we will represent the Alterans" said Aurelia taking her seat.
Thor stood up and said "I am Thor Supreme commander of the Asgard fleet I am the the representative for the Asgard" before returning to his seat.
Lya and I represent the Nox "said Lya before returning to her seat .
Standing up next was a man with light blue skin ,and deep purple eyes and black hair, he looked human apart from his skin color and eyes, he was 6foot tall .
"I am Zamel the Furling represenitive ,"and he returned to his seat .
Stand up last was President Henry Hayes ,I am Henry Hayes the Us President and I represent the people of earth the Tau'ri" he said before returning to his seat .
"There is much to discuss today, first I wish to address the Tau'ri " said Aurelia.
"Long ago we seeded live in this galaxy ,with the hope that our children would one day surpass us.
Although we were highly advanced in our technology and knowledge we lacked the ability to defeat the wraith we knew that for our children to surpass us, and claim our legacy as their own they would need to be tempered so we allowed the Goauld to enslave humanity we do not expect forgiveness, but we do hope that you will understand the need for this in order to make you stronger in order for you to understand that lasting peace can only come from struggle in order to be in a position of power, and be benevolent to not malevolent. One must understand what it's like to not have freedom. The Tau'ri have been put through many tests and each, and every time you have risen to the challenge, it has been brought to the Attention of the ascended ancients that the Taurie the children of the Alterans, are considered by the Asgard the fifth race, and are ready to take your place as part of the great Races .
There is much to teach you, your people's understanding of what we have left for you Although impressive ,is still lacking and we wish to insure that you our children are given complete understanding, of all our technology and knowledge, and in order to do that we must accelerate your people's evolution, to the point that we were at before we ascended ,but there are some things that also have to be addressed ,such as your world cannot be a fractured,no longer can poverty and war be allowed ,you must be a united world , we will help you make this happen "said Aurelia.
"The Asgard pledge to help end the war with the wraith,a war that was started by the Wraith against the Ancient's ,and uphold the protected planets treaty ,we also will help in joint missions across the galaxies, with the Taurie as already agreed upon " said Thor.
"The Furling will aid you as well in educating your people, and we will help restore your world by removing all pollution , we will help aid you in anyway possible "said Zamel.
The Nox will aid any we can,we will share our scientific and technological knowledge with the Tau'ri , and educate you in the connected energies of the universe " said Lya.
"We will gladly accept your help and look forward to working together, for a better future for all "said President Hayes .
The discussions continued for several hours details were worked out ideas were put forward and at the end of the meeting the Tau'ri were officially recognized as an equal of the Great Races .
The Tau'ri had finally taken their place as the fifth Great Race .
