Aether made his way up the Jade Chamber to speak with Ningguang. He knocked a few times on her office door before he was allowed in.
"Well that's a pleasant surprise. Hello, Traveler." Ningguang spoke as she saw who walked in.
"It's been a while since we last spoke. How have you been?" She said facing back down to her work.
"I'm okay, I suppose." Aether answered calmly.
"I haven't found my sister yet though." Aether sighed sorrowfully.
"Oh, I see." Ningguang nodded to show she is listening.
"Can you help me?" Aether asked.
Ningguang looked up at Aether to answer his request.
"I have put posters up for you and I would love to help more, Traveler. But..." Ningguang started.
"But?" Aether inquired.
"But, I'm quite busy at the moment." She continued.
Aether was trembling with anger, this was his last straw.
His slammed both his hands down on the table, causing the table to shake and the ink to tip over. The ink was spilt all over the work Ningguang was completing and it splattered onto her dress.
"Traveler! What has got into you?!" Ningguang asked frustrated at the mess.
"YOU SAID YOU WOULD HELP ME!" Aether yelled angrily.
"YOU PROMISED TO HELP ME FIND HER IF I HELPED YOU WITH BEISHT!"
"WHY AREN'T YOU HELPING ME? YOU PROMISED!"
"AREN'T YOU SUPPOSED TO KEEP YOUR WORD?!" Aether screamed with anger and sadness.
"Traveler! I will help you!" Ningguang shouted back.
"HOW? HOW WILL YOU HELP ME?" Aether questioned.
"Traveler, I can't help you until you calm down!" Ningguang stated.
"I have to keep Liyue safe! It's very difficult, Traveler!" Ningguang defended herself.
"I understand that you're a failure as a Tianquan." Aether said coldly.
"You..." he stumbled back.
"You lied to me!" Aether yelled sadly.
"I'm leaving." Aether finally said.
He walked out of her office leaving her shocked and with ink everywhere.
