It was already late at night and the streets were eerily quiet.

The footsteps thumped loudly against the concrete road as female student wearing a black uniform was walking down the side of the road.

She has a deep black hair and purple eyes with a fair white skin that complemented her somewhat aloof expression.

{2:00 A.M}

"Argh it's already this late? If it wasn't for those homeworks I would've been able to come home earlier." The girl complained while looking at her watch.

As it turns out the girl stayed at her school's library reading books about magic theory that she forgot the time and when she came to her senses it was already 1:30 am in the morning.

As the girl continued to walk she soon then turned left following the sidewalk as she went into the next district. While walking along the side walk she passed by an very old antique store with it's lights still on indicating that the store was still open, this was not the first time the girl saw this antique store as she often sees it on her way to the academy.

Stopping in her tracks for a couple of seconds, she considered entering the antique store out of sheer curiosity but ultimately decided against it.

'That antique store looks suspicious as hell and it's already 2am in the morning if I want to take a look inside I should atleast do it during day time.' she thought.

Continuing her slow walk towards her home, she turned at multiple blocks before suddenly hearing shouts and gunshots.

-Bang!, Bang!, Bang!

Three gunshots echoed through the air and despite being fired successively in a row, noone woke up from the sounds because although the gunshots were loud it was silenced by a silencer and only made the gunshot audible but not loud enough to wake up the people inside their concrete homes.

Hearing the gunshots, the girl suddenly ducked down and hid behind the small tree at the sidewalk and slowly peeked at the corner of the tree to see what's going on.

She saw five people wearing masks that covered their entire face and black hoodies surrounding a small vehicle where two people wearing suits were lying on the ground bleeding while unconscious or perhaps even dead. Another one of the men in a suit was leaning against the car while holding his bleeding side as if trying to block the door of the car.

Finding something amiss at how the man in black suit blocked the door to the car even at deaths door she carefully took a look once more before finding out that there were a pair children inside the car.

Seeing this the girl began to plan and calculate her chances of saving the kids before briefly taking action.

The girl was no suicidal airhead and If she deemed that saving the kids was impossible she would then just call the authorities and hope that the children will be saved in time but if she had a chance of saving the kids without falling into trouble she would no doubt try to save the kids because although she doesn't care if something bad happens to others it was a different story if she didn't do anything to help when it was Infront of her and she could prevent it, if she turned a blind eye to the injustice happening right Infront of her guilt will creep up her heart and weight it down.

After seeing that she can do something about the situation she then used a tier 1 'semi-invinsibility' spell she then slowly made her way closer to the group of masked men. She waited for an opportunity to strike in order to swiftly paralyze the masked men with her tier 2 'paralyze' spell before dashing towards the car and taking the kids to safety.

She waited and waited for the perfect opportunity she didn't even move when the man that blocked the car's door finally gave in to his wounds collapsing on the bloody concrete road she just gritted her teeth thinking that the best way that she can help that man was to not put his sacrifice in vain and rescue those children.

She had already called the cops as a backup plan just in case if things go south and she gets caught instead of saving the children.

Not before long she finally found a chance to take the children when the men were taking the children out of the car, terrified the children screamed at the top of their lungs tears flowing down their eyes.

"PLEASE LET US GO!" Shouted the little boy.

"NO,I DON'T WANT TO COME WITH YOU MISTERS! " The little girl yelped.

As the the kids begged and yelped, the girl was closing in on the masked men before casting her tier 2 spell 'Paralyze".

-ugk! The men groaned before falling to the ground.

Unfortunately because of how close the children were to the masked men when she casted her spell they got paralyzed aswell knocking them unconscious.

"A-ahhh, I forgot the kids were nearby aswell!" The girl winced as she clutched her hair before regaining her composure and taking the kids with her before running off.

She had around fifteen seconds before the paralysis effect on the men wears off and runs after her so she just kept on running and running tracing back her steps trying to reach the academy for a safe spot but unfortunately for her the pursuers were slowly catching up and by the time she turned to another part of the street the masked men were already closing in on her so without a choice she changed another tier 2 spell.

"WIND BLAST!" She yelled.

Suddenly a strong gale of wind gathered at her hand before blasting towards the pursuing masked men at a high speed knocking them down.

The girls complexion slowly turned pale as she became exhausted after casting 2 tier two spells within a short period of time but still she persevered holding the unconscious kids in her arms she ran and ran turning from one street to another to lose her pursuers.

She was already getting tired and her Mana was almost exhausted, when she saw the antique shop that she passed by earlier still open without any options left she entered the the antique shop to hide from the pursuers.

The Bells at the entrance of the shop rattled and as she entered the store where she saw the lobby and the array of multiple antiques from the previous centuries.

The lobby of the antique shop is weird mainly because of the yellow lighting giving it that old exotic look. There were multiple things encased within a glass cube such as items from the 20th century and some were even from the 18th century and not far from the rows of history encased in glass cubes were four stacks of bookshelves sitting beside each other filled to the brim with books. Looking up the girl noticed that the lighting was not provided by a glowing magic stone nor was it provided by a light bulb powered by electricity but rather a very large light lamp that provided enough light to brighten up the entirety of the store and on the far left of the store was a staircase leading to the second floor.

The girl was about to use the stairs and go to the second floor when she saw a sign near the stairs. {No Customers Allowed} meaning that she wasn't allowed to go upstairs.

Although she wanted a better place to hide she wasn't bold enough to disobey the sign afraid of what might come next considering how creepy this place is, without much choice she hid behind the the bookshelves sitting on the floor while holding the kids in her arms.

Now that she is in a safe environment fatigue seems to have caught up to her as a wave of drowsiness engulfed her and fell asleep.

While the girls and the little twins were peacefully sleeping a set of footsteps came downstairs as a silhouette slowly looked around the lobby of the shop before finding the unconscious girl with two kids held tightly in her arms even in her sleep. The silhouette looked at them for a couple of seconds before letting out a sigh as it got closer to the girl and the twins before picking up the unconscious little kids and going up the stairs where it placed the twins on a white fluffy bed before covering them with a blanket and after placing the little kids on a bed the silhouette headed back downstairs as he approached the girl before lifting her up and headed towards the upstairs once more. The silhouette then looked around on where to place the girl for a couple of minutes before walking up to a couch and gently placing her there before leaving to the bedroom and taking a sheet of blanket to cover the girl in her sleep.

The silhouette looked at his wristband to check at the time.

[3:47 AM]

"They really barged into the store this early in the morning?" The silhouette complained.

'They ought to be punished... No only the girl barged into my house the kids were unconscious when they entered, so let's see what kind of punishment shall I give this trespassing girl.' The silhouette thought as it stared at the sleeping girl mischievously before going back to his room and staring at his work table and his closet where a bear mask resides while laughing gleefully but not loud enough to wake up the kids.

An alarm sang loudly as a girl sleeping on a couch slowly opened her eyes before staring at the air in a daze.

The ticking of the grandfather clock resounded in her ears as she slowly remembered the events from earlier this morning before looking at her sides only to find out the kids were missing.

"AH THE KIDS!" She yelped.

The girl frantically looked around here to try and find the kids that she didn't even notice the silhouette creeping up behind her. The girl looked from left to right and when she finally looked behind her all she saw was a head of a bear Infront of her.

The girl's skin lost color and turned white as she fell off the couch before screaming in pure terror.

"Pfft, GAHAHAHA!" The silhouette wearing the bear head laughed out loud when the girl's face turned white before stumbling down the couch failing te notice that the girl was already chanting a spell.

[ᚷᚱᛖᚨᛏ ᚠᛁᚱᛖ ᛚᛁᛋᛏᛖᚾ ᛏᛟ ᛗᚤ ᚲᛟᛗᛗᚨᚾᛞ]

"FIRE BALL!"

Staring at the ball of fire lunching towards his direction with a frozen smile he said.

"Uh... That looks like trouble" before blocking the attack with a barrier.

"Hey! Don't use a fire spell in a place that could easily burn!" He yelled at the perpetrator of the attack.

"AAAHHH THE BEAR CAN TALK!"The girl yelled.

"Ofcoarse I can talk but let me correct you I am not a bear." He said nonchalantly before taking off his bear mask.

Behind the bear mask was a boy with dark ashen hair and pitch black eyes with a pale white skin that didn't suit his mischievous grin that plastered all over his face. He wore a simple grey t-shirt and a black cotton pants.

"Nice to meet you my name is Eric Tormel, how do you do?" He introduced himself with a smile on his face. "
