After seeing Cyrus and Her brother speaking secretly, she wanted to walk around for a little while to ease her nerves. Vincent joined her since he wanted to spend some more time with her, looking at the items for the charity event she noticed all six of her items were gone. "Huh…so they were bought after all..that's good." She thought happily, a sense if pride taking over her. The sun was beginning to set, the clouds looked like gold and the sky a beautiful orange color. Lanterns and small lights began to switch on, as they walked comfortably they started reaching what looked like a festival. Many small shops open with desserts, snacks, beverages, jewelry, and accessories. A few dancers and performers in the middle of the streets as families and couples walked by. Lilith looked at up at Vincent, his serious face observing everything around him, she smiled a little in relief that her relationship with him was getting better. A merchant was selling flowers, she walked over to him and was about to grab the white tulips when Vincents hand took the bouquet. "Here you go sir." Vincent said giving the merchant a generous amount. He faced Lilith and gave her the white tulips, he shyly cleared his throat. She looked at him a little confused, but she seemed pleased by his act. "I heard that the white tulips mean forgiveness…" he said. A chuckle escaped her. "Yes…how did you know?" She asked. He scratched his hair. "I read a book on flower and plant language.." he said. "Why?" She asked curiously, that wasn't something men would usually care about. "I saw you reading one…and since you like gardens so much, I was curious as to why…" he said. "So you read it…because of me?" She asked. He nodded a little embarrassed. "Why did you mention that white tulips symbolize forgiveness?" She asked. "I just….I still feel guilty for treating you the way I did in the beginning, I felt like I wasn't myself.." he said. She hugged him softly. "I apologized to you as well, forgiving means forgetting and moving on, you don't have to bring it up anymore." She said. She let him go when he was about to hug her back, but he felt too shy to pull her back in for a hug so he let her go. "I can't believe you were going to buy them with your own money when you are walking with your husband…" he said. "Oh, I just thought they were pretty.." she said, she hadn't thought about that. She smelled the flowers and smiled. "This is the first time I receive flowers.."she said. He scoffed. "Really? What about all your other suitors?" He said, remembering the time when she had almost ten men pursuing her at the same time, rumors were flying around heavily that year. "I never received them personally, my father used all the gifts and bouquets to decorate the mansion…" she said as Liliths memories crossed her mind. "Wait…so i'm the first to buy you flowers?" He asked in disbelief. She smiled cunningly. "You were also my first kiss." She said in a flirty tone. He felt an odd sense of pride hearing that. "That doesn't sound so bad…" he thought, happily walking next to her. There was a melody playing nearby, behind the musicians and crowd, she followed the sound until she reached a music box. Staring at it, the melody was comforting, and oddly familiar. Vincent gave the merchant some money and grabbed the music box. "Are you just gonna buy me everything I look at?" She asked in disbelief. "If that makes you happy." He said. "I'm not materialistic." She said as she turned around, with him following obediently after her. It looked like that surprised him. "Another thing I had wrong…" he thought. A group of male dancers were heading towards them, one of them caught sight of Lilith and offered his hand. She looked at him a little strangely, but put her hand in his, he pulled her in and they danced. He was being respectful enough not to pull her in too close or hold her intimately, maintaining a small distance she followed his lead, laughing happily as her body moved instinctively. Vincent watched almost entranced, he could see why so many men were always tripping over themselves to see her even from afar. The dancer was looking at Lilith too long for his liking, Vincent scoffed as he extended his hand for Lilith to take. "Alright alright, please give me back my wife." Vincent said. Lilith reached for his hand as the dancer let her go, he bowed respectfully and continued on his way. Her bright smile made him feel happy, he was glad to see her acting this way after everything she went through with Vanessa not too long ago. The rest of the night passed by fast, she was having a lot of fun walking with Vincent, she was disappointed when it was time for them to leave. That night Lilith laid in bed staring at the ceiling, Tatsu laying sprawled out on her stomach. She kept replaying every moment with him as she sighed, there was something about him that made her feel at ease. "Why…you hated me so much…yet you're easily being swayed…" she thought, maybe he really was a kindhearted person, and he hated her because he thought she was a snarky jealous person. "Whatever…i'll figure it out later.." she thought as she drifted off to sleep. Vincent took off his shirt, a faint sweet smell was lingering around him but he couldn't tell where it was coming from. He sniffed his shirt and realized Lilith's perfume had stuck to him, in a strange way he felt more relaxed, his headache diminished, and he felt sleepy. He got into bed putting the shirt next to him, in a funny way, he felt like she was staking her claim on him, but he didn't mind, even if she tried getting possessive over him he felt like he wouldn't care. The closer he held the shirt, the more comfort he felt, realizing that her presence when he slept in her bed, was the reason why he woke up refreshed and at ease, even when he should have had a hangover. Countless nights he dealt with insomnia and headaches, if only he knew Lilith would bring him this much peace. After a few minutes the darkness consumed him and he fell into a deep sleep. The next morning his door opened abruptly and Cyrus barged in loudly, seeing Vincent cuddling his own shirt. He laughed heartily as Vincent looked at him groggily. "Are you so self obsessed brother?" Cyrus teased. Vincent groaned as he glared at him. "What do you want Cyrus?" He asked. "Mason Grimrose invited us to meet him today, something about a mens gathering at the Jameson home." Cyrus said. "What? Right now?" Vincent asked as he sat up. "No, later in the evening, at 6:00pm" Cyrus said. "Then why are you waking me up at 5am!?" Vincent scowled. "Just to bother you. Bye." Cyrus said as he walked out leaving the door wide open. Vincent groaned. "If you're going to barge into my room you could at least close the damn door!?" He exclaimed as he got up to close it. Cyrus's laugh echoing through the hallways. After eating breakfast he wondered if Lilith was awake, since it was 7am he figured he would just go check. He went to her room, from outside he could hear giggling. He knocked softly, Natalie opened the door and bowed. "Good morning master Vincent." She said. "Good morning Natalie." He said as she fully opened the door and stepped aside. He was surprised to see Melinda and Betty in bed with Lilith, on either side of her as she ate from a tray on her lap. "Did you girls sleep in here?" He asked chuckling as he sat on the window bench. "They like to sleep in here occasionally, what are you doing here?" She asked. "I just…came to tell you i'm going to a mens gathering at 6pm…." He said, not sure why he felt the need to tell her. She smirked. "So a tea party?" She teased. "Uh…no, just a couple of men drinking…" he trailed off, realizing that it was indeed like a tea party, just with both tea and alcohol. She laughed. "Oh! By the way, I was wondering if I could join you on the training grounds today?" Lilith asked. He was confused by her question, but as he thought about it, they could teach her how to fight and defend herself, that way if he wasn't with her she could at the very least protect herself. "That sounds like a good idea." He said as he stood. She smiled happily. "You start at 11 right?" She asked. "Yes, i'll go let the guards know to set up an extra set of weapons." He said. "Okay, see you later." She said as he walked out. Tatsu jumped back onto the bed when he finished eating his breakfast, stretching before he laid on Liliths legs. "Hey…isn't he growing a little…fast?" Lilith asked, he was already 4 inches taller and 4 inches longer than when she first held him. "Isn't that only natural for a wolf pup? Sarka said wolf puppies grow really fast." Betty said. "I guess…" Lilith said, she looked at Natalie who seemed have a small knowing smile. "What is it?" Lilith asked. "Well, master Vincent came just to tell you he was going out tonight." Natalie said. Lilith smirked. "Yeah…what about it?" "It seems he's started warming up to you a little more, he even bought all of the items you made for the charity event." Natalie said. Liliths eyes widened. "He bought all of them?" She asked in disbelief, it was only six items but they were a little pricey since they were meant to donate money. "Yes, he thought he was being discreet by I saw him from behind a tree." Natalie said proudly. Lilith laughed. "So you were stalking him?" "No…I just happened to be passing by, I thought he was going to buy lady Thalias items, but he didn't even look at her section." Natalie said. Lilith felt a weird sense of pride, like she won. "Maybe he has a crush on you.." Melinda said blushing. She scoffed and gently flicked Melinda's nose, making Betty laugh. Lady Hansen cloaked herself, and brought along a maid and a guard, the place she was supposed to meet someone looked abandoned and old. The stairwell leading underground, behind a house that looked worn down and broken. "My lady…this is really suspicious…" gabby whispered, concern showing on her face. "I don't care. I need to know who sent me this letter, this could be a chance at getting rid of Lilith." Lady Hansen said. "My lady…she killed two full grown men, I don't think it's gonna be that easy." Gabby whispered. They continued down the dark stairwell, the smell of old wood and dust lingering in the air. "Welcome, Lady Hansen." A mans voice said. Lady Hansen felt a shiver go up her spine, fear and curiosity overriding her senses. "Hello, who are you?" She asked demandingly. "Is this enough?" The man said placing the Allard family crest on the table, a golden lion surrounded by swords and a red sapphire in the middle. "Are you the duke?" She asked. "No, i'm just a low ranking guard, i'm here to speak for my master." He said as he moved away. A slightly shorter figure behind him, wearing a matching black cloak and black face cover. "Speak for?" She asked. "Yes, my master believed their voice will be recognized, so I will be speaking." The man said. "Alright…" lady Hansen said. "Did you bring the item we asked for?" The man said. Lady Hansen brought out a small bag and put it on the table. The man grabbed it and opened it, pulling out a small jar. "This poison is strong, but if treated within 24 hours it won't have any lasting effects, it's something my brother got from his underground endeavors." Lady Hansen said. "Perfect." The man said handing it the person behind him. "So…you'll just use it to poison Thalia, and plant the jar in Liliths room right?" Lady Hansen asked. Everyone knew hurting Thalia would be punished by execution, given how obsessed the Allard family was with her. "Yes, if all goes well, Lilith gets executed and you can finally marry Vincent." The man said. "Great, pleasure doing business with you." Lady Hansen said, gabby fearfully pulling on her cloak to walk out. As soon as they were gone, the man turned around to face their master, a sudden strike to his neck caused him to fall back. He gargled as his blood came out of his throat and mouth, and he died a slow painful death. The masked master grabbing the Allard family crest and walking away through a hidden exit. Melinda braided Lilith's hair and tied it up in bun tightly so it wouldn't get caught in anything. She wore a simple shirt, pants and the boots she used for hunting. "Are you nervous my lady?" Natalie asked. "Nope. Im excited." She said. When she got to the training grounds she saw Sarka helping clean some of the weapons, waving excitedly when she saw Lilith. "Hi Sarka, you help out with the weapons too?" Lilith asked. "Yeah, but I spend more time in vegetable garden and with the farm animals." She said happily. "Lilith, are you ready?" Vincent asked. He walked over to her and gave her a wooden pole, she raised an eyebrow. "We're gonna train in pole fighting? Not sword fighting?" Lilith asked. "Well…it's just better to start easy, as soon as you get a handle with the pole you can start with a sword, beside I mostly want you to learn defensive techniques…" he said. "What if i'm already used to pole fighting?" She asked. "You have trained in pole fighting before?" he asked. "Yes, i'm pretty good at it." She said smiling. "In that case, perhaps she should go against me." Cyrus said as he approached them. "That sounds great." She said confidently. "No, you don't know how to go easy, what if you hurt her? She's a lady." Vincent said, refusing his suggestion. Lilith scoffed. "Well, I accept, I promise I will be fine." She said getting in position. They were a good distance from each other but she took a couple extra steps back. "Are you afraid?" Cyrus said. "No, there's just something I have always wanted to try." She said. Vincent stood close to watch as a referee, he had his hand in the air as they got ready, dropping it down so they could start their match. She ran quickly, stabbing the pole into the ground and using it to jump up in the air, taking the pole with her. Vincents and Cyrus's eye widened and their mouths opened in shock, the last time they saw a pole jumper was when they were younger and their parents took them to a circus. Cyrus jumped back and blocked her when she came down. She immediately attacked again and he blocked her, a smile spread on her face as she felt excitement running through her veins. His hands shook from her attack, the weight of her hit was unexpected, he gulped as he made a move to get her but she jumped back. Her hands expertly wielding the pole as she slowly walked around him in a circle. It was no longer funny to him, being circled like prey was unsettling. He attacked and she blocked him effortlessly, a small laugh escaping her as she looked up at him. Vincent watched her closely, how she used her legs and back to add strength into her hits, and he could tell the impact hurt from how Cyrus flinched every time he blocked and her pole hit his. They continued sparring for a few more minutes until Cyrus started getting tired, she finally managed to take his pole away from him. "That was harder than I thought…" she thought, catching her breath as she sat down. Sarka ran over with some water and snacks, which Lilith was thankful for since all that movement really got her hungry. "That was impressive, I never would have thought you would know how to pole fight…but..how did you learn?" Cyrus asked, he had heard about her childhood and she never mentioned training of any sort. She realized she messed up, she cleared her throat as she kept a straight face. "They never paid any attention to where I was, so I would sneak out and watch my brother train…while I was hidden I would mimic him and his trainer…therefore I learned very well." She said. He seemed to not believe her, watching her fiercely to see if she faltered. She glared back, Vincent was shocked to see how fast the environment turned hostile. "What is your problem? Why do you keep looking for faults in me?" She asked, getting fed up with the accusatory look in his eyes every time they crossed paths. "What problem? Aren't you the one with a problem?" He asked as he scoffed. Sarka looked at them worried, putting her hand on Lilith's shoulder. "What do you mean by that? I don't have a problem with anybody besides you." She said. "Well don't you avoid Thalia like the plague? She has tried many timed to get along with you and be friends, but you always deny her." Cyrus said as she stood. Her eyebrow twitched and she stood up as well. "I don't deny her, I have gone with her a few times, but every time you were there, you made me feel unwelcome. Of course I would be wary of going with her." She said. "Well, either way, it's probably not a bad idea to keep you away from her, after all you're just a jealous whore." He said angrily stepping up to her. She saw red, her mind going blank as she punched his stomach making him double over, grabbing the back of his head she pushed down, bringing up her knee and making contact with his face. His hand covered his face in pain as he straightened back up and glared at her. He was going to hit her but she moved like a snake and was already behind him wrapping her arms around his neck in a chokehold. He struggled to breath as hands grabbed at her arms, unable to pull her off he threw himself onto the dirt ground. Trying to wriggle out if her grasp, flipping her over he loomed over with a fist raised. Throwing a punch but missing as she moved her head out of the way, her legs tucked in and her feet pushed him off. She straddled him as Vincent kept yelling at them to knock it off, he knew if he tried to separate them they would both turn their anger on him and he couldn't take them both at once. Cyrus tried to punch her but she caught his fist as he grabbed her shirt, ripping it a bit on the sleeve as he pulled. He kept struggling against her, unable to get her off since she stuck to him like a leech. In a last resort he grabbed her bun and tried pulling her back, she grabbed his hair and held on tight. They ended up standing, gripping onto each others hair. "Let go!" Cyrus exclaimed. "You first." She said angrily. Staring into each others eyes full of fury, Vincent was finally able to breathe since they stopped throwing punches. They continued bickering and Vincent rubbed his temples, hearing footsteps coming from behind him he turned around and his heart dropped to his stomach. "F-father?" He stuttered, as he nervously watched him get closer. The duke stood next to the two still grabbing each others hair aggressively, blinded by rage and not even noticing the duke was raising his hands were touching the backs of their heads. He pushed them against each other hard, their heads banging together and they knocked out. Sarka ran over to check on Lilith, worried she would have a bruise on her forehead. "Clean this up." The duke said as he walked away. Vincent bowed his head as his father cane back to him. "When they wake, bring them to my office." The duke said sternly. Vincent nodded, he walked over to Lilith to pick her up, her face finally peaceful as she breathed softly. Sarka worriedly followed as he took Lilith to her room. The duchess sipped her tea happily, she enjoyed having tea time with Thalia. "I wonder how the training is going…Cyrus said Lilith would be joining today…" Thalia said as she stirred the sugar in her tea. "That's nice of them to invite them." The duchess said, she thought it was strange that they would train with a lady, however the recent happenings made it seem like it was their only option at this point, to avoid her getting hurt again. A tall serious maid walked in, bowing to the duchess. "My lady, there was an incident at the training grounds, I haven't been given any more information but there is a meeting at the dukes office." The maid said in her monotone voice. The duchess paled. "Is Lilith hurt!?" She asked as she stood up quickly, rushing out and forgetting to take Thalia with her. However, Thalia stayed, stirring her tea as a small smile appeared on her face. She brought up the tea to her lips, thinking of her conversation with Cyrus the day before. "My lady, will you be going?" The maid behind her asked. Her smile dropped, showing concern in her eyes she stood up. "Yes, Lilith might need my help…" Thalia said sadly. "Oh..my lady is so kind!" The maid thought as she happily followed after Thalia. The duchess rushed in the room to see both Cyrus and Lilith pouting on the couch with their arms crossed, covered in dirt and rips on their clothes. The back of Lilith's head was throbbing in pain, the last thing she remembered was her and Cyrus holding onto each others hair, after that, everything had gone dark. Melinda, Betty, and Natalie were standing by the wall with their eyes on the floor. They were so busy doing their chores they missed out on the fight, even though they were worried for Lilith, they wished they could have seen the fight. "Are you okay sweetie?" The duchess asked worried. "Yes mom." Cyrus said as he scoffed. He waited for her to check on him but when he looked at her she was inspecting Lilith all over, even inside her mouth. "I'm fine…." Lilith said awkwardly. The duchess sighed in relief, she went over to Cyrus and karate chopped the top of his head. "What were you thinking!?" She scolded angrily. Cyrus rubbed his head, pouting exaggeratedly as he looked over at Lilith, who was smiling satisfied. "Yes. Explain what happened." The duke suddenly said. Lilith cleared her throat. "We were pole fighting…we had a small argument and it turned into…fighting.." Lilith said. The duke rubbed his temples in stress, the duchess sat next to Lilith and smiled softly to comfort her. "Sarka, you were a witness to what happened and won't be biased, please tell me in detail how it came to the argument and fighting." The duke said and Sarka looked at them worried. She stepped forward and cleared her throat. Thalia walked in with her maid quietly and a worried expression took over her face when she saw how dirty they were from their fight. "They were training…and Lady Lilith won, master Cyrus asked when she had time to train, which my lady said she would sneak into the training grounds as a child and watch her brother train. Master Vincent looked skeptical, Lady Lilith was upset that he glared at her and asked him what his problem was, which he replied that Lady Lilith doesn't spend time with Lady Thalia." Sarka said as she gulped. The duke was listening to her as he watched Lilith and Cyrus, who were crossing their arms and looking different ways. Sarka cleared her throat. "Then…she replied that she has gone with Lady Thalia, but master Vincent always makes lady Lilith uncomfortable, master Cyrus got angry and called lady Lilith a….whore..which then made her angry and she punched him. They continued fighting until you got there sir." Sarka said. Vincent nodded to confirm the story as another witness and the duke stayed still for a few minutes as he pondered what to do with them. "You two, are adults, I would expect this behavior from children. However, I have no time to deal with you two now, apologize to each other and leave this behind you. From now on I will make sure you two get along." The duke said, his words were heavy. They knew they got off easy, his punishments were usually intense, but he decided to be kind since Lilith was a lady. "We will all leave this behind us, if anything that happened in this room is spoken of outside, there will be serious consequences." The duke said as he raised his hand, motioning for them all to leave. Thalia stared taken aback, she watched as the maids fawned over Lilith. Checking every part of her body as she walked out. Lilith's eyes turned to look at Thalia, a knowing look in her eyes as she scoffed as she left the room. "What was that about?" She thought. Her maid noticed and frowned. "Who does she think she is looking at you like that." She said upset. Thalia slowly turned to look at her with wide eyes, everyone else in the room had heard her maid and they were now all staring at her. Thalia smiled awkwardly. "Please forgive her, she just feels like she needs to defend me.." Thalia said as she bowed. The maid gulped nervously as she bowed as well, her hands shaking. "Everyone is excused, Cyrus I need to speak with you alone." The duke said. Everyone walked out and Cyrus stayed on the couch. "What is it father?" Cyrus asked nervously when the door closed. "What on earth, made you think calling her a whore was a good idea." The duke said angrily. "I wanted to make her angry, I never thought she would attack me…" Cyrus said. The duke sighed. "And why are you upset that Lilith doesn't spend time with Thalia? My informants told me Lilith has reciprocated gifts and doesn't have a hostile attitude towards Thalia." "I didn't know that…Thalia told me Lilith doesn't spend time with her, and that she feels like Lilith doesn't like her…" Cyrus said, looking at his hands. "What you did was not appropriate, a gentleman should never treat a lady that way, I expect you to apologize as many times as necessary until she forgives you. I expect you two to get along by the end of the month." The duke said as he pulled out a mountain of paperwork. Cyrus wanted to complain but he didn't want to risk getting his father even angrier, he bowed and exited the room. Vincent and Cyrus sat quietly in the carriage, tension so thick you would struggle cutting it with a knife. The only sound that could be heard was the galloping of the horses and the coachman whistling. The awkward air was too much to bear and Vincent broke the silence. "Why did you pick a fight with my wife?" Vincent asked, unable to keep his peace any longer. "I was angry at her for neglecting Thalia even though she tries so hard to befriend that wretched woman, however, since when have you called her your 'wife'." Cyrus asked curious. Not too long ago Vincent himself had many things to say about her and now all of a sudden he was acting like he cared. "Well, I have realized that we were too biased of her, we listened to rumors as if they were facts and thanks to that we got many things about her wrong. She has proven to be a respectable lady even though..she's a bit peculiar…." Vincent said as he trailed off. She certainly was strange, her way of speaking was as if she came from a different time, she said phrases he never heard of before. Lilith never cared about how much she was eating and always went with the flow of how things were going. "Respectable? I doubt that." Cyrus said scowling, the memory of their fight replaying in his head. "I expect you will properly apologize to her when we come back home, she has been through a lot of stress already, she doesn't need another thing on her plate." Vincent scolded. "Pfft, I don't think she cares about what's on her plate." Cyrus said sarcastically as he remembered the times she kept getting seconds and he often saw huge trays of food leaving her room completely empty. "What are you trying to imply?" Vincent asked angrily. "Nothing. Anyway we're here." Cyrus said as a butler opened the carriage door. They got off and were lead into the Jameson mansion. Derek, the youngest of the six Jameson children was the only boy, and because of that his father spoiled him rotten. The Allard sons usually got along with him but sometimes his attitude towards women made them uncomfortable. "Welcome my friends." Derek greeted as soon as the entered the doors, the mansion was eerily quiet. "Are we the only guests?" Vincent asked, since Derek usually invited a lot of people at once. "No, theres a hidden underground room I like to host my events, and tonight I have a spectacular surprise, something i'm sure you two will enjoy." Derek said as he smiled. "We'll take your word for it, lead the way." Cyrus said as they walked together. Vincent couldn't help but wonder what kind of surprise would leave Derek smiling so sinisterly. Lilith sighed as she held Tatsu close, his soft breathing calming her. This is the first night since Vanessa left that she was alone, and since Vincent left she ate dinner alone. "I wonder what they'll be doing tonight…" she thought, her head began to throb and she flinched as brought up her hand to rub her temples. A memory floated into her brain, a statue, she sat up abruptly. "Holy shit….tonight is the night….I can't believe I forgot about it, but….since me and Vincent get along better now…I wonder what he'll do…" she thought. In the novel, her brother and a friend paid a sculptor to make a statue of Lilith and show it off at the mens gathering. They treated it with disrespect but Vincent and Cyrus turnes a blind eye to it and continued the night like nothing happened. However, now that she and Vincent got along better he might say something, but her hopes weren't high. Tatsu looked up at her with adoring eyes, as she stared back she felt warmth in her heart. "I love you so much.." she said as she bear hugged Tatsu. The small party was going well so far, but Vincent was slightly bothered when he saw Mason Grimrose with scotch in his hand talking with his group of friends. The sound of glass being tapped with a spoon caught their attention and silence overtook the room. Derek stood proudly as he cleared his throat. "Tonight I have brought a gift to you all my friends." He said as some servants rolled in a covered item to the middle of the room. "It is a statue of beauty and youth, I know most of you have spoken of having it for yourself or at least getting a taste of it. My good friend Vincent Allard was unfortunately stuck with it and told me he wished it could disappear." Derek said and signaled the servants to remove the cloak. It was a statue of Lilith Grimrose, kneeling with her face slightly down, it was a degrading position for a lady. Some men whistled and Derek looked pleased with himself as he looked at Vincent. Cyrus looked at his brother in shock, surprised to see a statue of Lilith created to look so explicit. "Thanks to me, we got a lot of details on here." Mason said as he poured wine on the head of the statue, an angry look in his eye. The dress that was carved onto her statue was designed to be incredibly tight and leave nothing to the imagination. Vincent felt anger rising inside of him, as he watched the men swarm around the statue and "feel" Lilith's body. Some making explicit movements at her face with their lower body as they laughed. Statues of ladies were usually made with them standing tall and proud, faces looking up towards the sky to signify their pride and beauty. The shock of seeing all these men crowd her statue and imagine her naked in their bed made his blood boil. "Vincent! How do you like my surprise? I remember at your wedding you said that you wished you could get rid of her, and since you hate her so much I took into my own hands to-" he was cut off by a fist to the face. Vincent seething as he continued punching Derek, some of the men rushing over to try and separate them. Cyrus unsheathed his sword and destroyed the statue, although he didn't like her, he did not believe in degrading women or humiliating them in such a way. The two brothers continued fighting the men that touched or did "acts" on Lilith and the others that had felt uncomfortable with it as well helped defend Vincent and Cyrus. "Why are you so angry! You literally hated her so much!" Derek said as some guards started holding them down. "Because I don't anymore! She became a friend of mine! Not only have you insulted my wife! But the Allard family as well!" Vincent exclaimed. Derek scoffed. "What the hell? Is she that good in bed? Enough to change your mind in such a short amount of time." Derek said trying to make Vincent angrier. It worked and Vincent tried to attack him again, It took 4 more people to hold down Vincent as he tried to set himself loose. The guards dragged Derek inside and the others lead Vincent and Cyrus outside, since the mood was now ruined they all decided to go home. The silence in the carriage was different now, the two brothers were angry and in disbelief. "Fine..i'll apologize to her.."Cyrus said, thinking of how truly unfortunate Liliths luck was. "Thank you.." Vincent said, even though Lilith wasn't there to witness such a humiliating event, he felt as if he should still make it up to her somehow. The rest of carriage ride home they sat still, a sad air surrounding them as the nights events kept replaying in their heads
