Guts had to fight against the nyksverse as a child for some time, and one of the nyksverse soldiers he killed in battle could manipulate blood in any way he wanted, and when Guts' abilities were revealed, it was realised that Guts could use the power of the beings he killed himself, and after mastering blood manipulation, Guts became a truly powerful soldier and rose to become a guardian of the Malixator.
But this did not go down well with the people, who now employed a man who had killed our own soldiers and comrades as a high-ranking official in the kingdom, but after this incident was forgotten, Guts began to mistreat the people and execute those who opposed him under false pretenses, but no one could report this to the king, because if they did, they would die.
When Guts saw Malixator leaving Evelayn's house he knew something was wrong because Evelayn was suspicious of some parts of the kingdom and didn't like the changes in the kingdom and the biggest reason for that was Guts himself and knowing this Guts sneaked into Evelayn's house after Malixator and Evelayn's earlier conversation and Guts confronted Evelayn.
