Chapter 106 - Chapter 106: Osank Black Tower

Isengard Fortress, situated at the southernmost tip of the Misty Mountains, is in a valley.

The fortress consists of a huge courtyard and Orthanc Tower, covering an area of 500 hectares, and it is surrounded by tall rock walls.

The rock wall surrounds the valley and forms a circular barrier. If you want to enter it, you can only pass through the gully tunnel under the high wall on the south side, which is its only entrance.

When the administrator of Isengard heard the news of Carl's arrival, he hurriedly brought his men to the city gate buried under the tunnel.

He had already received an appointment from King Seychelles, and it was already known that Carl would be the new receiver here.

The city gate slowly opened to reveal a black horse, and a young man with a good appearance and a compelling temperament caught the eyes of several people.

"Lord Carl, welcome to Isengard!" Administrator Roger Eddy, with several of his lieutenants, saluted Carl.

"Okay, you're welcome," Carl waved his hand and motioned for several people to stand up, "Are you the administrator here?

"Yes, Lord, Eddie, whose nickname is Roger, will serve you in the future." Roger, a big man with a generous face, said respectfully.

Carl nodded: "Well, very good, Roger, take me to get acquainted with the current situation of this fortress first!"

"My pleasure," Roger said respectfully again.

They've all heard about Carl saving the Andain, so despite Carl's youthful looks, they don't take him lightly, and they do their best to give him the utmost respect.

Roger begins to tour Isengard with Carl.

Carl followed him and wandered around the fortress a few times. After seeing it, he was still satisfied.

Isengard Fortress today has not been occupied by the Orcs, nor has it been ruled by Saruman.

Therefore, although there are high walls around, inside the city walls, there are not only steel and furnaces but also ravines, potholes, and thick smoke.

It is still surrounded by greenery and grass.

Today, 5,000 people live in this fortress.

Among them, 2,000 are soldiers of Rohan, and the other 3,000 are mostly relatives of the soldiers stationed there.

Isengard Fortress is far away from the capital Edoras, and it can be regarded as a remote place. Therefore, most of the Rohan soldiers who are willing to be stationed here have already settled.

Carl was not displeased with his strength of only two thousand, as the fact that King Rohan had given him sovereign jurisdiction over the region was a very generous gesture.

With Roger's introduction, Carl also slowly got acquainted with Isengard's situation, generally speaking, so-so.

Not too good, not too bad.

After making a circle, Carl looked at the center of Isengard Fortress, with a hint of obscure thought flashing in his eyes, and then slowly said, "Roger, take me to Oshank Tower."

"Yes!" Roger nodded.

Several people slowly walked towards the center of Isengard.

Oshank Tower is a high tower located in the center of the Isengard ring.

The tower body extends upwards, reaching a height of more than 500 meters. The top is composed of a huge smooth platform and four stone spires.

From a distance, it looks like a dark shadow, resembling a demon standing above the valley.

Following Roger's lead, Carl slowly walked to Oshank Tower.

Here, it becomes more and more clear.

The huge black tower is towering like a cloud, with no gap, and it appears natural. With the strange characters carved on it, it looks weird and peculiar.

The black tower is not like a human creation but rather like a skeleton pulled from the ground.

"Lord, this is Oshank Tower," Roger explained to Carl.

"This black tower has been standing here for thousands of years. It is the landmark building of Isengard, and nothing can damage it. Whether it is wind and rain, or years, it has never been able to change this black tower by the slightest.

"And this black tower will also serve as your residence, as your office. I hope Lord Lord will like it," Roger smiled slightly.

Before Roger could finish speaking, Carl suddenly felt a stirring in his heart and moved swiftly.

"Zing!" The huge blade fell on the black tower, and everyone only felt a sudden ringing in their ears, and with the explosion, a brilliant spark burst out in front of them!

Carl stopped his hand and looked at the small scratches that were only half a meter long, and couldn't help but wonder: "Is this really the famous Oshank Tower? Its quality is truly admirable."

You know, he used 50% of his power just now, but he could only leave a mark on the black tower. You can imagine how strong the black tower is.

"Okay, let's go," Carl shook his head, slowly raised his steps, and walked into the black tower.

Roger and several adjutants heard the sound but did not move. They just stared at the scratch that was cut out, and their mouths agape.

"I said, did I just get dazzled?"

"This, this was cut out by the Lord?"

Several other lieutenants looked at each other. This is the Oshank Tower. Everyone here knows how strong this tower is, but now it has been struck by the lord they just took office? And left traces?

Several people stepped forward and touched the scratch.

"Yes… it's true!" said an adjutant with difficulty.

Several adjutants were somewhat suspicious. They pulled out their knives and tried to slash twice, but without exception, as before, their blades could not injure the Black Tower in the slightest.

The crowd fell silent again.

Then, Roger suddenly turned his head and proposed to several adjutants, saying:

"I said, it's better not to mess with our lord in the future, what do you think?"

"You're right, I think Lord Carl will lead us to a better tomorrow, ha, ha, ha, right." Another adjutant nodded hurriedly.

"Yes, I have no opinion, I feel the same way."

As the saying goes, the people present are not fools. Carl can make such a big noise with just a single blow, how dare they continue to match him.

At this moment, everyone changed their attitude again.

Their respect for Carl from the beginning turned to respect, plus obedience.

After such a small episode, Carl's strength has been unanimously recognized by them.

Carl did not expect that his casual actions would bring him such benefits. Seeing those guys surrounded the tower in amazement and chattering endlessly, he didn't have time to pay attention to it, and headed towards the high-rise on his own.

Going up the surrounding stairs, Carl looked around, looking for his goal.

If he remembers correctly, the true knowledge spar seems to be above the Oshank Tower.

That's a true spar!
