Avery opened her mouth and let Sebastian feed her. Donovan smiled in his seat, seeing that the two had become closer. Donovan couldn't believe his plan had worked and all he had to do now was to find out more about how their night went.
They all ate in silence while Logan didn't stop looking at Avery across the table. He clenched his fist and his knuckles turned white underneath the table. Jessica wished she could gouge out Logan's eyes but she knew the consequences would be more brutal.
"I hope to call for you again in the next meeting, Mr. Walter," Donovan said to Walter, praising the man for coming to the small gathering.
"I will gladly come here with my daughter whenever you send for us. Thanks for taking care of her." Walter said sweetly while Donovan smiled.
"I think Sebastian is the one taking care of her and not me."
Donovan acknowledges Walter before they part ways.
