As soon as Rayne got to his room, he threw everything on the table away in a rage. The color of his eyes flickered between brown and gold. His wolf was eager to go berserk but Rayne knew this was not the time to start attacking people when his kingdom was on the verge of getting destroyed.
To make things worse, the absence of Selene only makes his wolf restless. If he had known that it would end like this, he wouldn't have pushed her too much.
No woman appears lovely before him now except HER.
"Guards!" Rayne thundered and the guard walked in briskly.
"Send a message to Drake. I need to see him now," Rayne said and the guard left in a hurry.
His forehead formed deep creases as he bent his head. The rage that filled him could barely be tamed.
A few minutes later, The door swung open and Drake walked in. His footsteps were light against the floor and it reminded me of Selene.
