"I will take it that you get my message, Mickey. You should refrain from pushing my buttons from now on," Avery warned, and Mickey sneered, letting out a low laugh.
"You can come at me now. Fight me, you bitch!"
Avery didn't reply; she brushed her hair again before leaving the room. She was more disturbed about what she saw earlier.
"It's because I hated her. I might be having this hallucinations because I didn't sleep well."
Avery was getting closer to the CEO's office when she heard the loud clicking of someone's shoes on the floor.
Avery tilted her head to the side to see that it was Mickey. The moment Avery knocked on the door, Mickey was already beside her.
Avery pushed the door open while Mickey came in with Avery. She walked elegantly towards where Calhoun was sitting.
Calhoun turned, facing the two ladies in the room.
"Please have your seat," Calhoun said, and they both sat down on the chair.
