Hazel left in her car when they were done eating. It was already around 6 p.m. before she left, and Avery was glad Hazel decided to keep her company.
Avery didn't have anything more to do than retire back to her room. She went inside the bathroom to take a long shower, and somehow she missed the time she would run to get to the bedroom and ran back inside because of Sebastian.
A smile tugged on her lips without her realizing it, and then immediately she frowned.
"Is something wrong with you?" Avery cautioned herself and wiped the water off her face.
She dried her hair with the dryer before leaving the bathroom to wear her pajamas to bed.
However, Avery couldn't sleep as she began to toss on the bed. She was getting more frustrated with each passing second.
She stood up, remembering there was a gift she hadn't opened yet. Avery got out of bed and walked towards the window to push it open.
