"Don't tell me you can't carry me. and you are afraid to lose Mr. Sebastian." Avery said, lowering her voice a little bit to gain Sebastian's attention.
"I thought you wanted me to make it real; then tell me, are you going to back out?" Avery asked, her voice laced with confidence.
She looked at Sebastian straight in the face, but her feet almost wobbled when she saw the way Sebastian licked his lips like some dessert.
He suddenly smiles, bending his head low to match her height.
"Are you testing me right now?" Sebastian asked with so much seriousness. His mint breath fanned her face.
Avery felt goosebumps form on her skin, and she wrapped her hand below her bosom. She wasn't sure if it was because of the sea breeze or the way Sebastian was standing close to her but she was feeling cold.
She had to admit that life is not like a movie where a man drapes a coat over his woman's arms just because she is cold.
