Lily's POV
After moments of convincing myself over and over again the car finally pulled into a dark, deserted parking lot, the only light present was coming from the dimly lit sign of a rundown diner.
"Get down," Chris said, his voice strangely calm.
I stared at him, my mind spinning. Why were we in front of a....restaurant? This wasn't like him, what was he up to?
"Come on," he said, his voice edged with impatience.
The night air was cold and damp as Chris and I stepped out of the car, his hand gripping my arm like I was going to run away any second.
"This way," he said in a commanding tone.
I followed him silently, my heart hammering against my chest. The parking lot was dark and almost empty, the only sound I could hear was the crunch of our footsteps on the ground. The place was kind of quiet and they weren't much people around.
