With this plan set, Sebastian prepared himself for action. The first thing he did was to make runes for the Flame Dart Spell, since he needed to conjure them up fast if he wanted to set the building on fire quickly.
He checked his equipment, ensuring everything was in place. The bow was there; the short sword and the spear were, too.
Then his thoughts went to Richard. The two weren't exactly friends, and working as his apprentice wasn't more than being a slave. He didn't get paid after all.
Though what he learned from him had been great and allowed him to make some money on his own, so it wasn't that bad.
Despite this, the craftsman had been kind to Sebastian, and knowing he was there or that he could die in the fire didn't sit well with the rune master.
