The rune master cackled, his eyes gleaming maniacally. "I should really consider a career in the performing arts. I bet I'd bring the house down... literally!"
He kept walking.
"Hmhmm… So, what should I do first?"
The rune master's next move was clear—he needed to visit the site of the battle between the Echo Revenant and the Spectral Stalker.
There, he would attack the two gangs. Hopefully, they would already be done with collecting the mana clusters, but even if they weren't, he could use the undead and the helpers to complete the job.
Then, after he killed them all, he would stage evidence to make it look like the Marauders and Shadow Vipers had turned on each other during their material collection efforts.
