Maynard's face lit up at those words. "You won't regret this."
The two started talking about the operation. The points were three.
The first was to destroy the current horde, feeding on the massive amount of corpses at the sight of the battle. After that, they had to prepare people and vehicles, mostly carts and chariots, to harvest the bodies and the mana clusters, which was the second point.
However, they would need to bring the resources back to the refuge in just a trip. The reason was simple: fangeds.
The more people were going to protect the slow convoy, and the less were the chances they would lose the precious cargo.
That also meant they had to set up guards, patrols and scouts during the entire harvesting process. The harvest itself wasn't a problem, but it was the constant risk of being attacked.
The third and last point the two leaders had to solve, or find out, in this case, was to find out who or what killed the two tier-2 fangeds.
