Finally, with a groan, the protesting wood and metal gave in, and the door swung open. Sebastian had to push Floffy inside, because the undead's big ass didn't fit the door frame.
As soon as they were both in, the rune master slammed the door shut and leaned against it, his chest heaving and a laugh spreading across the building.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Well... that was fun! Fun, Floffy! Anyway, how are you holding up? Still in one piece? Oh, right, your eye is falling out. Geez, I might have to replace you soon, my stinking friend! That eye looks too bad, and I have a reputation to uphold!"
The interior of the building was dark and musty, with light filtering through cracks in the walls. Sebastian's eyes darted around. The building was some sort of ancient shop or storehouse, with shelves lining the walls and a thick layer of dust covering every surface.
"The usual!"
