Sebastian stepped out of the refuge. The outside was cold; it was winter, after all, and the heat released by people and forges didn't reach here.
He took a deep breath, enjoying the surrounding silence. The moment was tense, almost suggesting what he might do next. The silence made Sebastian's decisions feel even more serious, as if the world was waiting to see what he would do. He was going to kill.
The rune master turned his head and then headed to a particular but secluded spot, the same one he had ordered his undead minions to wait for.
"Hey guys! I bet you missed me."
The undead didn't reply.
"Oh, c'mon, it's not my fault those two decided to go drinking!" Sebastian said, adopting a defensive tone as if the minions just scolded him.
