Sebastian's heart nearly leaped out of his chest as his eyes locked onto the nightmarish creature that had just come out of the alley.
It was a gaunt, humanoid figure, its body draped in the tattered remnants of what might have once been a very fine armor.
Hmhm… Yes. The metal was blackened and rusted, as if it had been left to rot in some forgotten grave, most likely those of the creatures it killed.
Through the gaps in the armor, Sebastian could see the creature's frame. Its bones were white and contrasted with the once polished shine of the creature, all black armor.
But it was the creature's face that truly sent a chill of excitement down Sebastian's spine, and that then made him more ecstatic than he already was.
