Chapter 264 - Sleepless Shenanigans

Sebastian sat in his shelter. It was run down and in a state of disrepair; courtesy of the centuries, it had been at the mercy of the elements. The Rune master wondered how it could still be standing.

Its walls were collapsing, and the rooms were filled with dust and debris. The structure's windows were broken, allowing moonlight to cast its light within.

Shrosi had fallen asleep, at least on the human side. The ancient ruins were covered in a veil of silence and darkness, with only the moon providing some lights, most of which created spooky shadows that more often than not gave Sebastian jump scares.

It was weird. The rune master assumed he was going to be the only one sleeping outside of the refuge, but in truth, he wasn't. 

The refuge was basically the ritz, a place where only the wealthiest, or strongest, within the city could stay. Those like him, the poor ones, had to stay outside because getting a place there was next to impossible.
