Rebecca crossed the portal, and everything turned black. It was as if she got swallowed by a tunnel of shadows, but it was like when she first got into Somnium.

A moment later, a light appeared in the distance. That was the usual when crossing the portal.
Rebecca knew that once she crossed it, she would be back in the real world. The light grew, brightening until it filled her sight.
With a gasp, she emerged from the tunnel of light, blinking as her eyes adjusted to the sudden change in brightness.
Once she opened her eyes, she found herself lying in her own bed. The soft, silken sheets she was so familiar with, caressing her bare skin.
She was naked, of course. That was every thespian's problem before they reached the third tier.
This made it imperative to find a thoughtful and safe location to cross between the two worlds.
