Chapter 243 - A Glimpse of Terror

"What the…?"

Sebastian felt excitement bubble through him and run down his spine while he urged the undead to increase their speed.

The undead did. Sebastian dismounted the vehicle, his heart pounding in his chest with excitement. He took a deep breath, then crept forward to peek around the corner, every muscle in his body tense.

There, his eyes widened.

On the other side of the corner, there was an immense square, with a massive well in the middle of it. The square was lined with aged stone buildings, their exterior had been taken over by with creeping ivy and most of the buildings were partially collapsed.

Around the well, the ground was uneven, suggesting years of heavy use and foot traffic, or something huge, having walked around there in the past.

There were also what appeared to be small market stalls, abandoned and in disarray. The air was also thick with the scent of damp earth.
