Sebastian dragged the bodies through the market square, leaving a trail behind.

The sight drew a few glances, but no one lingered long. In Somnium, such things were part of daily life.

He spotted his destination: a stall run by a grizzled merchant who dealt in monster parts and rare materials.

"Back again, young man?" the merchant said.

"Got a good haul this time, old man. Thirty-two Silent Howlers, freshly hunted."

The merchant's eyes widened as he looked at the rope tied to the monster corpses. "Impressive. Let's see what you've got."

Sebastian watched as the merchant examined each carcass, noting the quality of the fur, the sharpness of the claws, and the integrity of the body in general.

All the corpses had a single wound on their bodies, meaning that Sebastian killed them, draining them of blood to preserve the body's quality. Finally, the merchant straightened up and nodded approvingly.
