The next morning arrived. Sebastian got his mana back and was ready to take the others out of the city.
The first one to be brought outside the city was obviously going to be Rebecca. Followed by Robert in the evening. Of course, this was intentional, as those two deserved to get out.
Honestly speaking, Sebastian was still uncertain about Sarah.
But despite the good news, the air within the villa was thick with tension.
The group was gathered in the main hall. Rebecca had already outlined the situation. They were now waiting for Sebastian's instructions with a mix of impatience and unease.
Robert was happy about all of this, and nodded in understanding once he got this great news.
He didn't trust Sebastian that much, but was confident about his capabilities and saw this as their best chance to escape.
Sarah was furious. Her voice had risen several octaves as she berated Sebastian for not using the artifact earlier.
