Sebastian listened as Rebecca explained the situation as best as she could. While the information would not help him find a solution for the current predicament, it at least provided some context for their situation.
In the meantime, Robert finished cooking the meat Sebastian had provided. The aroma wafted through the room, causing everyone's mouths to water in anticipation.
One by one, they gathered around the knight, waiting eagerly for their share of the meal.
Thomas and Miyoko, however, eyed the food with suspicion, clearly reluctant to accept something coming from Sebastian. The others, including Sarah, didn't share their hesitation and accepted the portions Robert handed out.
Sebastian grinned.
"What?" Sarah asked.
"Nothing." She then went back to looking at the meat and took a big juice bite. Thomas and Miyoko, in the end, accepted the food with reluctance.
