Sebastian gazed down at the crumpled form of the Marrowghast Sentinel, its once-fearsome presence now reduced to a lifeless husk. As he contemplated his next move, his grip tightened around Lament.
To lose Calvin and Leo was problematic, but he could not afford to dwell on it now. There were more pressing matters at hand, namely, continuing his search for Rebecca.
The Marrowghast Sentinel would not be much more useful than Leo and Calvin against tier-1 fangeds and higher levels, but the slight improvement in combat was going to be much more in other situations.
Against tier-0 fangeds, below a certain level, Sebastian could leave the job to him without problems, while he watched it slaughter his opponents.
With a nod, Sebastian knelt beside the Sentinel's remains, his fingers tracing the intricate runes etched into Lament's shaft.
"Tharun," he said, the familiar incantation rolling off his tongue.
