Sebastian heard the creaking sound and turned just in time to see a sword descending on him.
Reacting quickly, he raised his spear, Lament, to parry the blow.
The force of the impact caused him to stagger back, but he maintained his footing. Though the sound of glass shattering echoed throughout the castle, Sebastian had just lost a shield of virtue.
However, he wasn't worried; he had many other runes ready to protect him. However, he was taken aback by the sight of the monster in front of him.
"What the fuck is this thing doing here?!"
