Two weeks had passed since Sebastian ventured into the forest. During this time, he had killed around fifty fangeds and gained some new mana.
Unlike when he was inside the savanna, this time he didn't keep the mana clusters and decided to absorb them to increase his chances of survival within the forest.
As a result, he absorbed the equivalent of 85 mana clusters by absorbing the clusters and the fangeds' mana, a significant amount, but that wouldn't surprise anyone considering he was doing the work of a full party of thespians but without having to share the mana clusters.
Of course, the journey hadn't been simple at all.
Sebastian encountered many high-tier fangeds along the way, including those of the second tier. If the Rune Master was unable to fight the Tier-1 monsters, doing so with Tier-2 creatures would be akin to suicide.
Regardless, by avoiding the beasts and killing whatever he could, Sebastian reached his destination, Plerg.
